Sairam Brothers and Sisters! Everyone of us would like to have some sort of a boost some sort of an encouragement to start our everyday lives.I know most of us would love to crave for Swami's attention like Swami should be talking to us or We should be near Swami at all times and sometimes even feel that Swami should come in our dreams and even guide us.When we observe in our day to day lives very keenly He is guiding us only thing is that we are really not aware of it.Swami responds in so many ways.when we check our inboxes in our emails we will be somtimes wondering how when just yesterday I was thinking of something and today Swami has answered and cleared my doubts! Its only Swami's inspiration that has enabled this soul to select a few inspirational words from Joel Osteen which are very encouraging and many of our doubts are sometimes answered in a different way and when dejected if nothing is inspiring ,the messages sent thru Sai groups feels very comforting. As the famous Sanskrit Subhashitha says "Aakashaath patitam toyam yada gachathi sagaram,sarva deva namaskaraha keshavam prati gachathi" Meaning "Just like how the water fallen from the sky reaches ocean,all the prayers offered to different Gods reaches Lord Keshava" Thru which ever source we learn anything it again comes back to where it started meaning 'Spirituality'. Perhaps you are in a trial today,and you are praying God to deliver you out of that adverse situation.that is a legitimate prayer,but may be you're missing the point of why you are being allowed to go through that trying time in the first place.Recognize that God is Molding you and refining you. God often allows you to go through difficult situations to draw out those impurities in your character.You can pray,you can resist,you can bind,you can loose,you can sing and shout,you can do it all,but its not going to do you any good.God is more intrested in changing you than HE is in changing the circumstances.And sooner you learn to co-operate with GOD,the sooner you will get out of that Mess.The quicker you learn your lesson and start dealing with those bad attitudes and start ruling over your emotions,the quicker you will go the next level in your spiritual journey.We must recognize the refining purpose of trials.We can't run from everything that's hard in our lives.Perhaps you get worried and fearful when important things don't go your way.Have you ever thought that God may be allowing those events to TEACH you to Trust HIM and to see if you can stay peaceful and calm in the midst of the storm?Have you considered that GOD may be allowing some of that to teach you how to rule over your emotions?He may be trying to roughen you up,to help you develop some backbone and stability in your life. We often pray ,"God,if You will change my circumstances,then I'll change."No, it works the other way around.We have to be willing to change our attitudes and deal with the issues God brings up;then God will change those circumstances. God will often permit pressure to be applied in your life to test you,and only as you pass those tests will you advance.He will put people and circumstances in your path that grate on you like sand paper,but He will use them to rub off your rough edges.You may not always lik e it;you may want to run from it;you may even resist it,but GOD is going to keep bringing up the issue again and again,until you pass the TEST. Without resistance of air,an eagle can't soar.Without the resistance of water,a ship can't float.Without the resistance of gravity,you can I can't even walk.Without opposition of resistance,there is no potential for progress.Yet our human tendency is to want everything easily,"God can't you teach me patence without having to go through the traffic jam?,God can't You teach me how to love and trust You with out ever having a problem?" Unfortunately Brotheres and Sisters there are no shortcuts;there is no easy way to mature phyasically,emotionally,or spiritually.You must remain determined and work With GOD.Salvation is more than a onetime prayer.It is constantly co-operating with GOD,dealing with the issues He brings up,keeping a Good attitude,and allowing Him to change you as HE SEES FIT.
