AUM SAI RAM

“A leader must be one who leads from the front and not pushes from the back”-
Sathya Sai Baba.

On Saturday 03.10.2009, the new members of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Council
(Mauritius) will be selected, presented and briefed in the presence of the Zone
Chairman, Mr. Kishen Khubchandani and Dr.L. Singh, the Central Coordinator for
Africa at the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Curepipe, Wooton, Mauritius.

Bhagawan Baba has in His Immense Wisdom, laid stress on the need for the
‘selection’ and not the ‘election’ of the members of the Sai Council and Sai
Committees because in an election there is division as each group puts forward
its candidate.

“‘Selection’ gives you the Chairman, male or female which you deserve” as was
aptly remarked by Mr.Kishen Khubchandani, last night at a meeting with devotees
at Wooton.

The Chairman of the Council or of a Committee in the Sai movement is a leader
who holds a position and is looked up to by others for guidance and for
qualities of SAI. He must be motivated to attempt to live up to the highest
ideals of Dharma. In his relationship with others, a Sai Leader must always be
initiated by Prema. He must never talk ill of others or try to demean others to
win favor or to gain support.

Most of all, a Sai Leader must not be a leader of one ethnic or religious
group. He should rise above all matters relating to color, caste or creed,
while remaining grounded in his own religion.

A Chairman should not only be the leader of his Centre or Council, but a leader
who leads all devotees of SAI to the Ocean of Universal Oneness and to the
expansion of consciousness, expansion of love, expansion of knowledge and
expansion of service. He should aim at the realization of his own divinity and,
also lead each and every one of his followers to realize the SAI WITHIN, the
GOD WITHIN.
