PADHUGA POOJA AT DHARMAKSHETHRA, MUMBAI.
10th, 11th 12th & 13th December 2009
“Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja†is an annual Holy Event, during the last 15
years. For the first 10 years, the Pooja was conducted in the Divine Presence,
at Prashanthi Nilayam. Later on, Swami had suggested that the annual Pooja may
be conducted in different parts of the country.
Last two years we saw the Padhuga Pooja venues had been, Thane (near
Mumbai), and Surat (in Gujarat). There were prayers even from overseas venues,
such as Mauritius, Johannesburg, Malesia, and Singapore., These venues were
suggested by the President of Sri Padhuga Trust, based on the prayers of
devotees from those cities.
But even without asking for it, Swami Himself, in all His Divine
Compassion, commanded Sri Chettiar, to conduct this year Padhuga Pooja in
Dharmakshethra, Mumbai. Having given the directions, Swami Himself visited
Dharmakshethra and had sanctified the Place, which Swami was visiting after 9
long years. It is a most fortunate occasion for anybody to come and personally
participate in this year Padhuga Pooja.
The programme is scheduled to be celebrated between 10th to 13th
December; 3 days of various Yagnas, and ultimately a mammoth procession and
Divine Padhuga Pooja on the 13th December.
On receiving he Divine command, Sri Chettiar has earnestly plunged into
activities to initiate appropriate arrangements, to celebrate the function in a
grand manner.
Every year a New Padhuga is designed based on various concepts. This year
the Padhuga is designed on ‘Ashta Dhik Palakas Padhugasâ€. Recently Bhagavan

Large number of devotees are expected to throng at Dharmakshethra and
attend this year Padhuga –Pooja celebrations.
