Shirgaon, popularly also known as "PRATI-SHIRDI" is situated off the Old
Bombay-Pune highway. Its around 32 Km from Pune railway station.
Shri Saibaba Temple was established here on 11th June`2003 by Sai Devotee Mr
Prakash Keshavrao Deole.
With the blessings of Shri Sai Baba, the Construction work got completed within
a period of Nine months, which itself is considered to be a Miracle.
The people working at the Temple site also experienced various miracle's during
these nine months.
Now, Shirgaon is known for this Sai Temple which is built exactly similarly to
the Sai Temple in Shirdi.
Like in Shirdi, in the Gurusthan of this Sai Temple too, there is a Neem Tree,
which also happened to be there from the start.
The Temple Layout, Sanctum, Baba's Samadhi & Baba's Idol gives a feeling of
being in Shirdi itself.
There is also Baba's Dwarkamai in this Temple where Baba's Dhuni is
continuously burning 24x7.
Like the "Shri Sai Prasadalaya" in Shirdi, this Shirgaon Temple also has a
"ANNACHATRA" where at a time 1,500 devotees can eat together.
Chawadi at the back of the Temple, is built in the similar fashion as in Shirdi.
Mangal Snan, Baba's Abhishek and Aarti's are done here as per the schedule of
Shirdi Temple.
Since 2003, the Annual festivals like Sthapana Divas, Guru Poornima, Ram Navami
& Dasara are celebrated as in Shirdi.
Shirgaon has got a new identity since this Temple was established.
