Birthright Daily Reflections
Monday, May 03, 2010
So you see, in denying God as a total presence always around me, always
with me, always in me, I am denying my birthright, I am denying my very birth
itself. I am making myself an orphan, a spiritual orphan, cut away from its
source, not knowing where its home is, not knowing who its father and mother
are. Therefore we are lonely, we feel outcast, we suffer, and we are afraid.
So, this connection, which religion pretends to make and cause a re-connection,
is an everlasting connection. We don't have to try to find it again, or to do
it again, but to realize that it is there. Therefore, religion deals with
redemption and deliverance; spirituality deals with realisation.

Bhandaras â An Invitation to Prepare Ourselves

Bhandaras are spiritual celebrations. Each year, Shri Ram Chandra
Mission holds three major bhandaras to celebrate the birthdays of our three
spiritual Masters - Lalaji, Babuji and Chariji. A beautiful slide show has just
been posted for our perusal, as we prepare for the upcoming July 24th
celebrations of Rev. Chariji's birthday in Lucknow, India. The slides include a
varied selection of photos from one of the previous bhandaras. Coupled with
fitting quotes from the Masters, these images capture special elements of the
bhandara atmosphere and spur us on to take full advantage of the divine
opportunity that awaits us. To see the slideshow, go to
