A true coinceidence when we are doing the Gayathri Yajna to day and to
korrow..........
Breaking away from the normal traditions of holding a public function and
bhajans Gayatri Homam was conducted at Dharmakshetra on 12.05.2010. The Yagan
started around 10.30 am and concluced around 4.45 pm with the offering of Aarti
to the omnispresence Sai. Devotees from all over Mumbai participated in this
sacred Homam.
A little note on the Gayathri Homam.
Gayathri Homam is considered to be the purest among all the homams and is
said to be chief of all Mantrams. This homa also known as sukritha homa. While
saying this Mantram, we not only get the blessing of Sri Gayathri Devi but also
get the blessings of Surya Devan. And this mantram is equivalent to the rays of
Suryan. That kind of speciality and greatness, this Gayathri mantram has. The
benefits of this homa are many. It liberates us from negative karmas and past
life vasanas. and from all karma bandhanas that affects our growth in health
and wealth. Not only it helps in setting right our relationship with family and
society but also helps us to achieve high goals.
