Published on Friday, Oct 1, 2010 at 1750 IST Twin States from the North of India, UP and Uttarakhand presented a programme in Hindi, "Syan Sya Aradhana" on the evening of 25 Sept 2010 in the immediate Divine presence.
The play was based on the rich cultural traditions of northern region of Kumaon Mandal in Uttarakhand. Beginning with a prayer and ritual to Syan Sya, the Supreme Lord, portrayed in traditional folklore, the presentation was an attempt to depict the cultural variety of the region that has a strong base rooted in spirituality. Bringing in a couple of touching incidents from the life of "Little Sathya Sai", intermittently coming up with dance sequences showcasing tradtions and cultural variety, the fifty minute presentation served as a cultural intro of the northern region to Prasanthi Nilayam. The famous 'Vaana Raadu' episode wherein Little Sathya despatched rain clouds, stopping rains was depicted followed by a cancer patient's miraculous story of complete cure at the blessings of Lord Muruga, an illustration substantiaing the fact the Bhagawan is the One God in many forms. Jodha Dance, a temple dance prayer to Mother Goddess and Krishi Nritya, depiction of celebration of harvest highlighting harmonious coexistence of man and animals received rounds of applause from the capacity audience. View Photos Slideshow: http://www.sssbpt.org/images/SyanSya2010.swf The drama had its final scene ending up in the Divine presence in Prasanthi Nilayam, where the 'narrators' who arrived for Divine Darshan pledge a resolution to follow His core teachings of "Love all Serve All" and "Service to Man is Service to God". Burst open into a final folk song & dance hailing Prasanthi Nilayam, the children from the twin states brought the curtains down on the colourful presentation. Earlier before beginning the cultural presentation, a model of the triune holy shrines from the twin states, namely, Badrinath, Kedarnath and Lakshman Jhoola was taken to Swami with state president giving details on the same to Bhagawan. After the programme, Bhagawan moved down the dais, posing for a photo session. This was followed by clothe distribution to the participants, sarees and safari pieces. Prasadam was distributed to the entire audience before Bhagawan left for His Divine Abode after accepting Mangala Arathi.
