Dear Friends,
We pray to God whenever we face rough time in our life. Some of our
prayers are fulfilled by Lord, and some are not. Now the question is, whether
we can go to Baba to get our prayers fulfilled, after we feel Lord has declined
to fulfill, of course, due to our particular karma.
If we worship Baba as a saint who cannot do whatever Lord can do, then
obviously the question doesn’t arise. On the other hand, if we worship Baba as
an Incarnation of God, then obviously He is not going to fulfill what Lord is
not willing to fulfill.
But there is a way we can possibly get our unfulfilled prayers fulfilled
by Baba.
When a soul spiritually advances to the maximum level, It can merge with
God to assume the knowledge and powers of the Soul of God, the Supreme Lord.
Baba says, “I envelope all creatures, the movable and immovable world. I
am the Controller – the Wire-puller of the show of this universe.”
This statement shows that He is in complete merger with God and hence,
Lord.
To dispel the misunderstanding that this is a statement of an Incarnation
of God, in a different context, He clarifies,
“The Lord is the sole Doer and Inspirer. Neither I am God, nor Lord. I am
His obedient servant and remember Him often.”
Baba is not the only Soul Who has achieved this great feat.
Look at these statements of Jesus Christ:
“I and Father are one” (Jn.10:30).
“I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a
Messenger greater than the One Who sent Him” (Jn.13:16).
This also means that although Baba and Christ are capable of doing
whatever Lord can do, They won’t do anything Lord doesn’t want to do. Thus we
cannot get our prayers fulfilled through Baba or Christ, when they have been
refused by Lord.
Yet when we understand that it is possible for any soul to become
spiritually far advanced so as to merge with Lord and assume His knowledge and
power without prejudice to His intention, this very awareness can burn down our
karma into ashes; thus the probability of our prayers getting fulfilled becomes
dramatically increased.
That’s why Baba said, “Blessed is he who knows the greatness of his
Guru and thinks Him to be Hari-Hara-Brahma incarnate.” In other words, Baba
asks us to develop the faith that one’s soul can, in a distant future birth,
merge with Lord to assume His knowledge and powers. What one sees in one’s Guru
one begins to see in oneself.
To sum up:
a.. Let us not worship Baba with the faith that He is an Incarnation of
God.
b.. Let us worship Baba with the faith that He is in complete merger
with Lord so as to get our karma causing the current turmoil, destroyed.
c.. Let us pray to Baba; now that the blocking karma has been
destroyed, Baba will fulfill our unfulfilled prayers in concurrence with the
changed will of Lord.
