You are there in deep sleep. In awakened state also you are there. In both the states there is only one true self. Staying with the awareness of external world and staying without that, is the only difference between the two states. The whole world is arising with that mind and settling down with that mind. It is the mind which deals with dawn and dusk. The true self is not that one, which is influenced by sunrise and sunset.
