Sairam, The discussions on "Applause in Sai Kulwant Hall" by Saidevotees below starting from the bottom (Nirmala Menon) are interesting reading. The discussion continues. Sairam.
Sairam, Applause is an emotional expression of joy which is spontaneous and heartful as far as applause in the divine presence.Whenever Swami settles and stays at the dias after darshan rounds sometimes react with appaluse because the devotees are very happy that Swami has settled at the dias for divine darshan. One need not get perturbed or worried at the applases of devotees as they are heart to heart with pure love for Swami and one should not compare the allauses at Sai Kulwant hall and routine applauses in the various meeetings and gatherings of the sociey.Nirmala Menon need not feel sad and infact she must be feel happy with bliss as devotees expressed their love for Swami through applause the sound of which reaches swami's heart. JP Reddy. Sai Ram I was reading about applause in Sai Kulwant Hall I also felt once same way ,why we all are clapping on this divine miracle prasad or blessings but then right away thought came because we are so many children sitting their of Swamy some are at the back rows some are near ,when we all are there we all are there for Swami darshan ,blessings and we all look for swami attention on us ,we all do not get chance to get interview or sit at the front rows but from distance with happiness ,some times wrong time we applaud but this is just simple attention from God although most of us know Swami knows everything about us but still with applouding want to be part of some kind of connection with God on our personal kind of thing. Again its same way people sitting in the front rows suddenly will stand one by one others also stand to see Swami or again to get attention they simply forget there are people sitting behind its just one does thing other follows.Nothing is hard Sevadals can give little instructions and we all can follow and again God knows His children and will teach us lessons what we need to learn ,need to know. Sai Ram. Sister Anandambika. Dear All............ Sairam, Please consider this dicussion as a yard stick to measure ourselves of our progress in our own Spiritual journey...........Pray to Swami that it should not lead to any other feelings & understandings than ALL POSSITIVENESS & LOVE. - we have to learn to take things the way it is.......... - we do not have control over anything (even our own selves)...... - our likes & dislikes are totally personal.......... - When we have the Universal Lord In front of us & HIS Acts of LOVE towards us is Specific, then each individual reacts according to his or her feelings unknowingly - that is the power of DIVINITY..... - We have to learn to absorve HIS vibrations in the short period we recieve nowadys in HIS proximity. - Many a times I have experienced these feelings of all mentioned below...........& HIS actions & reactions were conterary to my thoughts & feelings......... He accepts everything which comes out of LOVE. Jai Sairam In HIS Service, Sureshbabu Sai Ram Simona This is one of the most wonderful and prettiest answers I have read in years on This group. You know that you are Divine and it is clear you understand that ALL are Divine. This answer is The essence of our Lord Teachings and The essence of efforts in His mission for humanity. That words you have written should be the guideline For each devotee of the Lord and this post should be somehow marked as "reference post". The whole world, ashram especially, is the stage of Our Lords playground. Games Of duality, scenarios of His play are His helping hand for us. That is His Grace; that are His showers of Love! Games of illusions that are passing in Front of our physical view are meant to teach us how to discriminate, recognize Duality, recognize Maya and understand (awake) our true nature. And that is Divinity. Thank you for your Love, In Sai Love, Sai Ram, I totally understand you if you feel sad... I would like total silence. But many of those people who are clapping are westerners... Here it is pretty common to express joy through an applause, also at home! When something delicious is brought on the table by the mother of the family people do applaud! It depends on the level of consciousness of each one, to react in a way or in an other. Joy can be expressed in many ways! I don't like noise when I am in front of Divinity, but I must say that I feel much more disturbed by the people who are talking and talking all the time than by a spontaneous clapping of somebody who has been all the time concentrated on Swami and shows his/her happiness in that way.. Don't be sad. Swami understands and sees in the heart of each one of us. He even greets people with His hands, because he knows that is the way some of us express their love for Him. Saint Augustine told: 'LOVE, and than do what you want'! Swami told that nothing that happens in the Sai Kulwanth Hall happens for a case. Perhaps we should learn something from this? To find our Center so that NOTHING can disturb us anymore? Sai Ram Sai ram dear brothers and sisters, Prasanthi nilayam, the worlds true heaven is well known in world for the scilence and disciplene. This type of aplauds makes our heaven's name for the disciplene get spoilled.... So let us try to avoid this and keep the proud our beloved bhagawan. Jai sai ram!!! > Sai Ram, > > We also need to remember that Baba says to accept everyone simply as they > are...Baba is beyond the form we see with our eyes, > Baba is an infinite flow of Divine Love Energy that flows like a river > through all of us and all that is...sad and happy are human conditioned > emotions...these > emotions arise from the egoic mind...we all need to understand that each and > every person acts from their best potential...everyone does their > best at their level of consciousness...I observe myself when I am irritated > because someone else's actions...and when I am irritated, I know that > it comes from being controlling...as we say" I want my way"...we need to > become observers without right away judging as good or bad...sure, > I still get trapped too...but I am aware when I get trapped...being aware > helps us focusing on ACCEPTANCE rather that being sad because > things do not go my way...as Baba says...TRUTH VIEWED FROM ONE DIMENSION > LOOKS LIKE THAT,WHILE TRUTH VIEWED FROM ANOTHER > ANGLE LOOKS LIKE THAT...we need to be in the one who bothers us shoes in > order to TRULY understand why they say what the say or > why the act the way the act...without experiencing " others" experience can > we judge or criticize or even feel happy or sad because of what they do? > PRACTICE IS THE WAY TO FREEDOM...BUT IT IS THE ONLY WAY....I do get sad many > times when something viewd from my angle looks not so called > right BUT immediately I remember that it comes from my egoic human mind > limited thinking...when the thoughts that bother me keep trying to enter > again and > again into my mind, I call Baba ...even I am aware of the truth, some action > of someone else can affect me in such a way that I simply cannot let go of > fixing that situation...and Baba says clearly that we cannot see the whole > picture in order to understand why this or that takes place?
