Inner-net, Not Internet This saying has followed in the wake of the last one and sets forth Baba's teaching that we are all one at the real or God-self level. In addition, He promises that everything we will ever need is always available within us. So we should ask within for the answer to our questions and the guidance we seek and stop searching outside of ourselves for security, direction or even love. This again is a hard lesson to learn, especially in this computer age when everyone, from the very young to the very old is addicted to the computer. Many people are mesmerized by this new toy and wastefully spend hours of precious time observing whatever may be shown on the screen, whether it is useful or not, instead of keeping in daily contact with the God-self. Since Baba insists that at the inner level of consciousness we are all one, when we habitually turn our attention inward, we will begin to feel this oneness and the interconnectedness of all individuals. Yes, the internet can be a most useful tool for dealing with life in the world, as long as it does not become an addiction, as appears to be the case with many people, especially children. However, if we can use this concept and apply it by consulting the inner-net, we will gradually come to believe that at this inner level or God-level, we really are all one and all inter-connected. The light of all of our "light bulbs" is the same light, though of varying intensities. We all share this light and it connects us to everyone else. So we are veritably all members of the same family, all related to one another by the light Baba calls God, or love.
