Om Sairam dearest Sai Family, As mentioned in my earlier email, Bhakthi TV conducted Bhajans in Pedda Venkamaraju Kalyana Mandapam (Swami's old ashram) in Puttaparthi for Swami's speedy recovery. Bhakthi TV has been conducting these bhajan sessions in various towns in Andhra Pradesh since Swami's hospitalisation.. As the devotees were immersed in the bhajans, Prof.Anil Kumar was kind enough to attend the programme as we were thinking, is he going to speak and in no time, the mike was in his hand. As the audience were mostly telugu speaking except a group of 50 devotees from Germany who are now on Parthi Visit inspite of the news that Swami is being hospitalised Prof.Anil Kumar spoke in telugu, highlighting the importance and majesty of Sai Avatar. Inspite of coming from different faiths, you will see equanimity only in Puttaparthi. At the Abode of Veda Purusha, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, you will find even citizens of Iran and Japan, chanting vedas with perfect pronunciation some times much better than some Indians. He also appreciated the German devotees for singing bhajans with utmost devotion even though it was not the same cuture they grew up in. Prof.Anil Kumar said, we cannot "limit" Swami to any culture, any country, any region. It so happened one day, that pointing to some people Prof. Anil Kumar said to Swami: Swami if it was in our country, in our state, our telugu people we wouldn't have behaved like that. Swami looked at Prof.Anil Kumar and said, can you repeat once again. Prof.Anil Kumar thought, He impressed Swami and repeated the same lines and then Swami replied, Don't "confine" me to any region or any language. Prof.Anil Kumar who usually, stays away from making any "non spiritual comments" poured his heart in support of the trust members. As many of us would know, there are some anti-Swami elements which are making un necessary write ups on Swami's organisations. Referring to Mr.Chakravarthi, Prof.Anil Kumar said: He is a person who has bravely discarded a lucrative IAS (Indian Administrative Service) career at such a young age just for the sake of serving Swami and obeyed the "divine command" with no second thought.. Can any one speak anything about such a great sacrifice. Sri.Giri is such a person, who also opted for voluntary retirement at a stage when he was on a top position in Vigilance department. talking of Sri.Indulal Shah, Prof.Anil Kumar said, He is the Bheesmacharya of Sai Organisation. Inspite of being in his 90s, Sri.Indulal Shah stills "is a humble servant" of our beloved Lord. The other young man in the trust is Sri.Ratnakar. Speaking about him, Prof.Anil Kumar said, Sri.Ratnakar is son of Swami's youngest brother Late.Janaki Ramaiah. I have seen Ratnakar since his childhood, as he studied in Swami's school from class one until he finished his MBA from Swami's university. A tender hearted person,Ratnakar is one of the living example of Swami's ideal student and also a responsible family member who is always concerned for the upliftment of the poor and down trodden. Prof.Anil Kumar said, all the names that I have mentioned are not ordinary people. They are not short of any "wordly" things. If they had to stay in their own professions, they would have been living in houses as big as palaces.Yet they preferred to serve our Lord, even though it meant, living in small one bed room apartment. How can any one dare to doubt their integrity. Prof.Anil Kumar said, in Sai Organisations, no one gives any money to any one for any kind of favour. Every one comes to Parthi, with their own money. There is no TA or DA paid to any office bearers. Every one spends money from their own pocket, some times even for fellow brothers and sisters as they know it is all Swami's money. Amidst loud applause from the assembled devotees, He said, our Swami is every where. How can any one ask Swami to come, when He is very much here It was a talk which was not preplanned. But at least because of Bhakthi TV, we were able to listen to this memorable talk by the chosen devotee, Prof.Anil Kumar.
Some out of context news, Famous cricketer, living legend of modern day cricket, Sachin Tendulkar has urged all Sai devotees to pray for our beloved Lord. Sachin Tendulkar, an ardent devotee of Bhagawan was blessed with various visits to Parthi. On sunday April 28th he will be turning 38 and he has cancelled his birthday celebration, considering Swami's ill health. Sisters and Brothers, Lets not stop praying. Swami will never leave us, even on a PHYSICAL level.... He is the DIVINE DOCTOR, He will answer every body's prayers. The efforts of doctors on a human level, Swami's little DIVINE EFFORT will make every one happy. With Pranams at the Lotus Feet of our beloved Lord, Satish Naik
