Under no circumstances should we lose our faith. The one with faith can accomplish anything. Swami has said many times about Tyagaraja who also lost this faith at times, on account of a wavering mind. Ramadasa too had doubts at times.
Ramadasa had to total faith in Lord Rama and had completely surrendered to him. But at times, human weakness comes in and manifests like a bubble of doubt. The soldiers were beating Ramadasa and he could not bear the suffering. He became angry. Spiritual aspirants should never become angry. Ramadasa shouted, “O Rama, I made a diamond studded crown for you. You are roaming around wearing that crown, whose property do you think is that?” However, minutes later Ramadasa felt very bad and he cried out to Lord Rama. He sang, “O Rama please do not be angry with me that I shouted at you. I did so because I could not bear the pain, not because I wanted to shout at you”. But even at such times, we must have patience. - From Bhagawan's Divine Discourse on July 7th 1996 in Sai Kulwanth Hall.
