Om Sairam dearest Sai Family
As the students are spreading Swami's love and energy in the villages Sai
Kulwanth hall is FULL (of love) with devotees day by day.
On the 29th of October, it was the turn of Sri.Ajith Poppat, who was lovingly
and rightly called as PUPPET by Swami to take the center stage. In a emotion
packed and very loving talk Puppet explained the significance of experiencing
Swami in every second of our life no matter where we were. Sharing a
conversation with Swami he said: Swami I experience you and feel your presence
there in the UK the whole day to which Swami replied: Hey Puppet not just whole
day but every second.
Going back to the year 2000 when Swami started the GRAMA SEVA project, Swami
called him in and asked, Puppet do you want to see God in Action to which
Puppet said YES SWAMI and Swami very lovingly asked him to take part in the
grama seva along with the students.

Sharing another intimate moment with Swami which happened in Yajur Mandir
(Swami's Abode) on Januay 15 2011, Mr.Puppet said: It was only him and Swami in
that room. Swami very lovingly called him closer and said WHAT EVER IS BOUND TO
HAPPEN WILL HAPPEN, WHAT EVER IS NEEDED TO BE DONE MUST BE DONE...Apparently
Swami's voice was as low as whispering and Like every one of us Even Mr.Puppet
couldn't understand the significance of Swami's words until April 24th when
Swami decided to leave His body. Swami continuing His conversation on that day,
asked Mr.Puppet to bring all the UK grama seva boys along with their families
and children as it is the 10th Anniversary for Grama seva and obeying the
Divine command a delegation of 100 have arrived to Parthi and the smallest of
the lot is is a 3 month old baby as well.
Puppet later said one can over come depression, suppression and even recession
only with SAI SESSION. He stressed upon feeling and experiencing Swami every
where. He asked all the devotees not to mistake that Swami is not seated in the
throne placed in your puja room or Sai Center. He is present every where and
watching every one of us..
Later there was a cultural programme by Sri.Raja Rao's son, Sri.Raghavendra who
performed Carnatic music.

Sri.S.V.Giri felicitated the artists which was followed by bhajans by the
students. Come Thursday it is a day to play one of Swami's bhajans in His own
divine voice and this evening it was His/Ours favourite bhajan "Prema Mudita
Manase kaho" Tears rolled down remembering those grand old days when Swami very
lovingly sang this particular bhajan. On a personal note, during those festival
days when Swami was expected to speak, I used to bet with my brother,, saying
that Swami would definitely sing this song and 9 out of 10 times, i won.

Later Prof.Anil Kumar before announcing the next day's programme shared some
touching incidents that happened when he visited Gunta Palli village as part
of Grama seva. There in that village, the poor and illiterate villagers
expressed happiness and gratitude upon the arrival of the students to serve in
their village. Apparently they all thought, the Grama Seva programme would be
scrapped after Swami's Divine Departure. They said they were very fortunate to
be born in this holy land and experience the love of Sri Sathya Sai Avatar.
They all felt it would have been wonderful if Swami had stayed for few more
years even if He had to just sit there on the dais and bless every one with His
Divine darshan.
Reading out the words from the folk songs which the villagers sang for the
Grama Seva group, Prof.Anil Kumar was amused when he heard the lines which said
"The person who cannot say SAIRAM will make no difference if alive or dead'.
They might be poor, illiterates but were definitely reminding the imporance of
chanting the Divine name SAIRAM.

SEPTEMBER 30, 2011
Today was an extremely busy day as the 7 day programme Veda Purusha Sapthaha
Gnana Yagna a beautiful initiative by the VEDAPURUSHA Swami Himself exactly 50
years ago to impart and inculcate Vedic knowledge to each and every one in the
society started this morning.
The Priests who seemed to the similar ones who did the last rights for Swami's
body after initial prayers in the bhajan mandir went in procession with the
KALASH to Poornachandra Auditorium. (ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL ARE PHOTOS FROM THE
2010 DASARA ON A SIMILAR DAY LAST YEAR IN THE PHYSICAL PRESENCE OF SWAMI).The
atmosphere in the poornachandra auditorium was completely charged reverberating
with the holy chants by the blessed Pandits who were supported by Swami's Veda
chanting group of students.
Today it was the turn of Puttaparthi to accept Swami's prasad as part of the
Gramaseva. As there are so many high rise buildings in Parthi and to draw line
some where, just like the previous years, clothes were distributed only to the
first floor houses. But the food packets and laddu was given to every one
including all the shops of Parthi.
Later in the evening After three speakers addressed the gathering a recording
of Swami's divine discourse from the year 2000 was played, another emotional
moment for most of us..Later, Sri Purna Das Baul performed BAUL SANGEET an age
old folk music from the state of West Bengal..
Arathi was offered to Swami's Mahasamadhi at 6.30 PM thus pulling the curtains
down to yet another beautiful day in Prasanthi..
With Pranams at the Lotus feet of our beloved Lord,
R.Satish Naik
