The Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Project that had its inception during the 85th Birthday occasion, is reaching a new milestone today with the commissioning of a new web application that would enable volunteers and teachers on the project to work collaboratively towards content generation. The Tata Consultancy Team that has been supporting Bhagawan’s Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Team in collaboration with Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Tech Team has completed the web application after two years of painstaking efforts. The Web Application would be offered at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet by Sri Chandrasekharan, CEO, TCS today on 25 August 2012. The first cut of this application was placed at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet during the 85th Birthday celebrations. The Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Project is aimed at integrating values in an innovative way into the school curriculum. It seeks to reflect Swami's guidance through Education in Human Values and connects the same to the school curriculum. It makes school education simpler, easier and much more innovative. It will also motivate the students more, as the curriculum will be combined with human values and taught via animations, pictures and multimedia technologies for 6th to 10th standards in the rural and semi-urban schools. Subsequently the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Program, with EHV embedded into the school curriculum, will form the education system for Stds. I – XII.
