Here is a brief report of inaugural programme of PREMA SANJEEVANI at Bhubaneswar on 01st October, 2012. With Prayers at His Lotus feet, Sri Sathyasai Seva Organisation's “Prema Sanjeevani” has been inaugurated on 1st October 2012 along with National Voluntary Blood Donation day observation at the Conference hall of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. Hon’ble Minister, Health, Govt. of Odisha, Dr. Damodar Rout, Hon’ble MP, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Prasanna Ptasani, Hon’ble MLAs of Bhubaneswar, Dr. P. Meherda, IAS, MD and other Dignitaries graced the occasion. Delivering an inspirational talk on the occasion Shri PJP Rao revered State President, Sri Sathyasai Seva Organisation, Odisha, highlighted about various activities of the organisation and Prema Sanjeevani in specific. He mentioned that about 400 volunteers have already been trained at four zones and they are going to organise about 1000 awareness programmes and in turn going to create awareness among one lakh peoples. The leaflet on “Prema Sanjeevani” was inaugurated on the occasion by the dignitaries. The website developed specially for “Prema Sanjeevani” was inaugurated by Hon’ble Health Minister, Odisha with click of the mouse. The website will facilitate awareness as well as developing donor database. Video, Audio files as well as FAQs are provided for spreading awareness. The District Blood Donation coordinators would be provided with credentials to login to the portal and update the camp details. State President received the award from Hon’ble Minister on behalf of SSSSO, Odisha as second largest Voluntary Blood Donation organisation of Odisha. Addressing to the gathering of about 400 youths, students, voluntary donors, representatives of VBD organisations etc. Hon’ble Minister expressed that Sri Sathya Sai Youth workers are dedicated, and with their devotion to Bhagawan Baba, they would certainly cross their target of 20,000 units of Blood collection. Two big banners on Prema Sanjeevani depicting the target etc. in both sides of the hall were main attraction of media and youths.
