Once a Student asked Swami as " Lord Krishna has emphasised in the Bhagawad Gita about the Three Paths to attain Moksha which are Bhakti, Karma and Jnana... then which is the superior of the three paths.
Swami replied in the most simple manner " The three paths are not independent but are mutually dependant. Bhakti and Jnana may be compared to the two sides of the ladder while Karma being the steps of the ladder. As you climb the steps of Karma, i.e. doing right actions, your Bhakti and Jnana also increases...". Sai Ram
