YOU DID YOUR DUTY AND I DID MINE

Once Swami was going towards Poornachandra Hall from Kulwant Hall in
Prashanthi Nilayam. All of a sudden a well-built lady

rushed towards Swami. Her face indicated that she was very much troubled by
some problems and worries. She wanted to fall

at the feet of Bhagwan seeking his blessings and solace.

A student, walking along side Swami, was in charge of regulating the crowd. He
did not know what to do. He decided to stop

the lady rushing towards Swami as he thought she would fall on Swami and hurt
Him. So he stretched his hand and stopped her.

Despite this, she fell at the feet of Baba seeking his blessings. Baba gave her
a patient listening, blessed her and materialized

Vibhuti and gave her.

On seeing this, the student thought that the devotee was known to Swami and he
did a mistake in stopping her and felt guilty.

He was standing in one corner in Purnachandra Hall, greatly worried about what
he had done.

Swami called him and told him with a smile:

“You did your duty and I did mine ….. do not worry about what you did.”
