Roopa Panesar, one of the leading names in the Indian Musical scene in the UK, who had her stints in the Divine Presence over the last week, showed up once again with her soulful and unique style of playing Sitar enthralling the festive assembly of devotees for over 45 minutes. Beginning with a solo, the accomplished artiste continued the show with some of the famous ‘Prasanthi’ tunes, Hara Shiva Shankara Sambha Sadaa Shiva…, Shankara Shiva Shankara…, Bolo Bolo Sab Mil Bolo Aum Nama Shivaya.. etc., ending up inciting the audience to a rapturous applause in appreciation. After the Sitar offering, Youth from the UK continued with a medley of fast bhajans, singing with devotional exhuberance. Bhajans by students continued and the session concluded at 1815 hrs. with Managala Arathi. At the end of the presentation, the artiste along with accompanists and other youth were felicitated and Prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly of devotees.
