Some time back (no date is found)a former Chief Minister of state of North
called for interview by Sri Sathya Sai Baba in His divine interview room of Sai
Kulwant hall.The former CM's wife was very sick and close to death.She
requested him to take her for darshan of Swami but he could not due to
preoccupation with official work at Delhi and agreed to take her for Swami's
darshan after returning from Delhi.While in Delhi he got the sad news that his
wife expired.After the cremation he went to Prashanthi nilayam with her ashes
for Swami's darshan.
In the interview Swami asked " Why did you not bring your wife to me and
fulfill her last wish? She was a good devotee of Swami and a good wife who
served you and your children for over 40 years.She just wanted to be with me
one last time and you did not bring her.Why did you not take time to fulfill
her last wish?". Overcome with guilt and grief ,the politician turned his eyes
to the floor and began to cry again.Swami told him to look up.Upon raising his
eyes he saw his wife in flesh walk out of Swamy's body and come to him.She took
his hand and spoke softly,"I am with Swami now and very happy,don't be sad.I am
very happy".She then disappeared back into Swami's body.As the former CM was
coming out of interview room he was weeping uncontrollably.Swami came out of
interview room and after seeing this gentleman Swami created some holy vibhuthi
and gave it to him and also patted his head.This quietened him.
