Vice President Nicholos Maduro succeeds the legendary Hugo Chavez ,as the interim President of Venezeula today.When he visited Prashantinilayam in 2005,along with the Minister of Education, Baba gave an audience to him and his family.He was then the Minister of Foreign affairs.He was accompanied by his wife Cella Flores who was then the President of the legislature. One of the founders of the Fifth Republic Movement(MVR) Nicholos Maduro,who has always had a photograph of Baba in his office, has had an illustrious career.From humble beginnings,he became a Union leader,then a Congressman,Foreign Minister,Vice President and now the Head of State. Among the 113 countries of the world where the Sai movement is active,Venezeula occupies a pride of place.The first Sai Centre was opened in Caraccas in 1974.The first workshop for EHV teachers was held in 1987.In addition to Sai School,the Institute of Human values and medical camps ,the organization in Venezeula,under the International Sathya Sai Service Organisation has also been regularly conducting public meetings in several cities of Venezeula to inform the public about Baba and his work.
