Anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam,on 24 April, this year amid
heartfelt remembrance of the enchanting Divinity, commemorating the ascent of
the Avatar from the physical plane, who walked the Earth for over eight
decades. Baba has shown the world how to love and how to live in love.
Baba’s devotees firmly believe that it was His Sankalpa that when the Infinite
One resolved to end His finite state on earth and return to Himself. In His
infinite form, now, He continues His Divine Mission, continues to be with His
devotees. He continues to manifest Himself whenever and wherever He wills. His
mission is ever expansive.
Millions of devotees around the world have experienced His divine presence and
pristine love. There are no physical limitations for Baba, and He manifests
anywhere according to His will. Baba reminds us that our true nature is divine.
The Andhra Pradesh Governor, His Excellency Shri ESL Narasimhan, last year on
Aradhana Mahotsavam on 24 April 2012 equated Baba with Sun, who shines all
the time without any beginning or end. The Governor beautifully narrated, the
Sun grants happiness to everyone without any discrimination and Baba is someone
whom one should experience, and He is eternal.
Baba has millions of followers all over the world from all strata, including
scores of dignitaries from Prime Ministers to Presidents not just attracted to
Him, but they revere Baba as the Divine Incarnate.
Baba’s work for education, social care, poor and medical relief is unmatched by
any charity in the world.
Baba said, “You will not be wrong, if you call Me Prema-Swaroopa” In fact, Baba
showers Prema, seeks prema and establishes Prema in the heart of the
individual. His Devotees experience Baba in almost every phase of their lives.
He has cured intractable illness; He has infused confidence and courage; He has
opened several satisfying opportunities for millions of His volunteers,
offering skills and strength at service of fellowmen.
The Five Year plan document of Government of India added a citation to the Sri
Sathya Sai Central Trust in appreciation of the Free Drinking water project
of Baba , which read – “Sri Sathya Sai Trust has set an unparalleled example of
private initiative in implementing a project on their own, without any state's
budgetary support, a massive water supply project, with an expenditure of Rs.
3,000 million to benefit 731 scarcity and fluoride/salinity-affected villages
of Andhra Pradesh.. Baba seeing the poor in Chennai city struggling for water,
instructed
His central trust take up the construction of a 63-km stretch of in the Telugu
Ganga scheme…. Thus, Krishna water reached Chennai, irrigating some three lakh
hectares of agricultural land on the way. The Department of Posts, Government
of India, released a postage stamp and a postal cover in recognition of the
pioneering service rendered by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in addressing the
problem of providing safe drinking water to rural masses.
Further to laud and commend the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust in its initiatives
to continue the Baba’s Social welfare programs, the Trust has recently
announced that it would spend Rs. 80 corers to take up the extension of Free
Drinking Water Project to benefit 118 villages and 2.5 lakh rural
population, which were in the clutches of heavy fluoride content presently.
The Sathya Sai Trust runs world-class specialty hospitals, General Hospitals,
Mobile Hospitals and number of medical and health units. They have served over
4 million patients so far , performed some 35,000 cardiac surgeries, 54,000
cardiac cathertisations, 10,000 neuro surgeries, 60,000 eye surgeries, and 1000
orthopedic surgeries and treated millions more — all free. There is no a
billing department. The bill for these services might exceed Rs 1,000 crore.
Baba’s trusts also run free educational institutions, cultural centres and
music colleges.
Even after Baba’s attaining MahaSamdhi hundreds of thousands of His followers
have witnessed emanations of vibhuti, nectar, gems from pictures of Sai Baba,
in homes and shrines in places hundreds of miles away from Puttaparthi. To
millions, Sai Baba is God; to his disbelievers He is the unparalleled humanist.
Baba’s message to Humanity is clear: Love is God; live in love. In fact, He
says , when truth and love go together, nonviolence is the result. Divinity is
only one; it assumes different forms in different ages. Sai Baba, in His Cosmic
form, continues to inspire millions and initiate messages of truth, peace,
love and non-violence.
It is well known fact that Baba maintained that he did not require followers to
give up their religious beliefs.. Shri RJ Rathanakar , Member of the Central
Trust held that Sai Baba’s popularity continues to be huge across the globe
and each day thousands of devotees from all faiths and different regions of
the world continue to visit Prasanthi Nilayam travelling from far and wide,
including from all States of India and abroad.
Prashanti Nilayam, the ashram of Sai Baba, will witness a series of programmes
to mark the occasion Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam (grand festival of
adoration and homage) on 24 April 2013 with hundreds of thousands of pilgrims

…there is no corner of this universe where Sathya Sai is not…He will be there
for time eternal…fortunate are those who continue to enjoy His communion.. It’s
time for all millions of His followers to walk their lives in His footsteps to
serve the needy and uphold the pristine culture, that Baba Lived.
