SAYEESHWARA ASHTAKAM (MEANING)


1) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sathya is 
the Divine son of Easwaramba, the bestower of eternal auspiciousness and He is 
the delighter of Venkavadhoota. 


2) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sathya is 
having the luster of the petals of Tulasi. He is worshipped in the hearts of 
Yogis. He is the message to all the mankind.


3) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sai is 
having locks of hair as black as Hari. His face is shining as the full moon. He 
shines in the hearts of the multitudes of devotees. 


4) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sai is 
the supporter of the vow of protecting the distressed. He pervades the sky and 
the heavens. His fame is multiple times that of the luster of the moon.


5) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. He is 
born in the family of Ratnakara. He wears the orange robe. He dwells in the 
Ananda Kosha. 


6) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sai is 
the heap of Love, nectar, milk; the bestower of welfare for the entire 
universe. He is the collection of peace and truth.


7) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sai is 
the indweller of Prashanti Nilayam. He is having the luster of the rising sun. 
He is the wish-fulfilling tree to the supplicants. 


8) I salute Lord Sathya, the eternal primordial teacher of the world. Sai 
pervades all the Universities; He is served by all the Vedic texts; He is 
Satyam (truth), Shivam (auspisciousness) and Sundara (beauty).


Whoever recites this Sayeeshwara Ashtakam (the eight verses extolling the Lord 
Sayeeshawara) inside their hearts everyday, their sins of this and the previous 
lives will perish without doubt.
