SAI BABA, THE GOLD SMITH

A Gold Smith
goes on hammering low and hard on a raw gold piece and puts it into fire to
purify it. After purification, he makes it a very beautiful ornament liked and
loved by one and all.

Similarly our
beloved Mother Baba hammers on us, her dear children, low and hard by putting
us into various troubles and humiliation. When we the Sai children bear all
these difficulties keeping constant faith on our Amma (Baba), she makes us a
pure soul and beloved man like a dazzling ornament.

So all these
troubles, insults, humiliations, etc., are nothing but the small and big
hammerings of Baba on us to make us pure and glittering souls.

1. Like nights
are followed by days and vice versa, the bad days are always followed by good
days. The patience i.e. Saburi and Bhakti are required to wait and enjoy. .

2. A man who is
away from pleasure is also away from pain. He is Paramahamsa. He is Jeevan
Muktha.

3. If you want
to enjoy heavenly pleasure of self realisation (Sat Chit Ananda State)
then you have to forgo worldly pleasure and enjoyments.

4. All tear and
anxiety are the result of desire. Head aches and heart attacks are the
consequences of desire only.

5. The
food which is tasty for tounge, is bad for stomach. Similarly the activity
which is most enjoyable for physical body is more dangerous for spiritual
progress.

6. Every
activity in anybody's life is controlled by the unseen hand of Baba. If you
divert your mind and try to realise his hand, you can know it.

7. The richest
man on the world is he who never worries for tomorrow.
