Sameer Kumar Bose and his wife, Mrs. Vijaya Bose, have been living and serving in Prasanthi Nilayam since 1999. While Mrs. Vijaya Bose is a Physiotherapist in the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, Col. Bose is the Director/Curator of the the Chaitanya Jyothi Museum. Col. Bose was born in Patna, Bihar state, in 1937. He attended the prestigious Scindia School in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and was commissioned into the Indian Army in 1959. He first had Swami's darshan in 1977 and the couple finally relocated to Puttaparthi in 1999 to care for Col. Bose's father, Brigadier Bose. After that they dedicated their lives to serving their Divine Father. In this talk he shares the story of how his father came to be a follower of Bhagawan.
