For decades, the Great M.S. Subbulakshmi and her husband were, like many in Madras ( Chennai ) very Devoted followers of the Paramacharya Swamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. One day Paramacharya asked her to go to Puttaparthi. M.S.Subbalaxmi was apparently puzzled by this command and wanted to know from the Paramacharya as to why she should go to Puttaparthi when she already had a Guru. Paramacharya simply said.."
