Sunday, August 11th, 2013 During the most wonderful Divine ordained moments of His darshan in Prasanthi, we have seen many a time such sessions turn out to be ‘open class rooms’, tales that tags the tails of such sessions are great eye openers for man to learn and imbibe… This day, 11 August 2010 was such a thrilling beauty that it appeared that Bhagawan never wanted to leave the dais and the company of devotees… Given below is an excerpt from the Darshan Story on 11 August 2010 in Prasanthi Nilayam as chronicled by The Prasanthi Reporter…Let’s read..assimilate…live with it and thus manifest HIM, our Beloved Mother Sai! Let’s re-connect to PRASANTHI DARSHAN UPDATES to connect to THE BEAUTY BEYOND COMPARE!!! Wed, Aug 11, 2010: During most of the day the sky was overcast and setting the stage for “His entry” came cooling showers just before the scheduled end of the Veda chanting. Bhagawan emerged at 1741 hrs. with an yellow umbrella cover on top, well received by the multitudes that bursted into spontaneous applause, an act of rejoicing watching His special ‘colourful’ entry. Veda chanting got a fillip with ‘ Little Hearts’ from Primary School and Easwaramma English Medium School joining en masse with verve and enthusiasm. …And as Bhagawan was moving past, the drizzle turned into lashing rains banging the roof atop with thud lending a natural background score to His Divine Darshan. Completing a full round of darshan Bhagawan came onstage at 1758 hrs. and soon blessings followed signalling further proceedings for the session. As announced during the previous evening, the Youth from Delhi & NCR (National Capital Region) were to stage a dance drama titled ‘Guru Kripa’. The presentation was based on the life of illustrious Sufi Saint, Bulleh Shah, lived during 17th-18th century, highlighting Guru’s importance in one’s life. Bringing a modern day scene wherein a youth of the day with overpowering ego forgets social ethics and behavioural norms, the presentation takes the help of the illustrious life of the Sufi Saint to enlighten the youth of the greater importance of Guru Bhakthi. His remorseful father narrates the story of the Saint in an attempt to bring his son back into the right track. Bulleh Shah, against much opposition from his family and society in general, stood by his devotion to his guru, Inayat Shah Quadri, a lower cast, declaring firmly that he would forgo his family and worldly life, but not his “Sai”, who was his revered guru. Still not convinced, the egotist finally learns his lesson when his discarded teacher pardoned him, despite all the insults meted out to him, saving his former student from the embarrassment of going behind the bars. The fifty minute presentation was intertwined with melodious and meaningful songs in folk punjabi language, the language that was in used during the time of the Shah. The presentation ended with a group song, in typical sufi tongue, in praise of “Sai”. View Photos/Slideshow http://www.sssbpt.org/images/thebeautybeyondcompareaug11_2013.swf Upon the end of the presentation, Bhagawan called the fakir cast onstage and blessed him with a materialised golden chain. Subsequently, Bhagawan came down the stage for a group photo session. It was 1855 hrs. and as indicated by Bhagawan lead bhajan pair bursted open with “Allaho Akbar..” A pause ensued as Bhagawan sat through and soon “Sri Raghavam…” followed and the session continued from there…with an array of bhajans…. In the meantime an ‘instant photo print’ of the materialisation came. The cast was called onstage once again and Bhagawan made over the same to the youth, a bonus blessing with momentous memory for the blessed youth. After the drama presentation, ‘His drama’ was unfolding. Bhagawan asked for the backroom assistants also to come forward to join the drama cast in the front block…Soon He moved down the dais once again!…for yet another photo session!! Returning onstage in five minutes Bhagawan sat through… still more to come?!? Lord’s compassion was filling and fulfilling…Bhagawan was seen giving instructions to the State President, Delhi & NCR…and soon the drama cast in small groups marched onto the stage for yet another “Momentous Moment” with The Divine!!! These post programme sessions often turn out to be ‘open class rooms’. Tales that tags the tails of such sessions are great eye openers for man to learn and imbibe. It was 1930 hrs. and Bhagawan asked for Mangala Arathi. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan sat for a while and before leaving the dais He blessed the concourse with abhyahastha. Leaving off, enroute, Bhagawan profusely blessed Lakhwinder Wadali, the Sufi singer who mesmerised the audience with his scintillating sufi rendering on the previous evening. Interacting with the singer, Bhagawan gave him ‘fistfuls’ of Vibhuti prasadam, a sign of His all conquering Love!!! As He was gliding into the ladies’ side, there came an ‘instant’ print of the group photo session…Presenting the same to the State President, Bhagawan moved off, retiring for the day, bringing curtains down on another eventful evening. II Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu II SOURCED: http://www.theprasanthireporter.org/2013/08/sathya-sai-darshanam-the-beauty-beyond-compare-10/ How Free Is She…? How Free Are We…? Sunday, August 11th, 2013 Sixty-six years into Independence, that is round the corner, is Mother India ‘free’ now? …and her loving children? Can we not hear the silent sobbing of this noblest, most ideal Mother whose bosom is full Eternal Wisdom meant for entire mankind. Every citizen in this country should ask this question unto himself/herself, introspecting, to wipe her tears restoring her pristine glory. A short ‘fantasy’ story from Sri Jullie Chaudhuri. It was pretty late at night, yet I felt like going for a walk, to be by myself, and feel the cool breeze caressing my thoughts. I set out at an even pace, choosing a lane that would give me the seclusion I sought. The fragrance of wild flowers gently wafted up to envelope me. Something brushed passed me and as it raced ahead I realized it was my four legged, tail wagging friend, who had chosen to adopt everyone in that area as his very own. We walked on…it was all so still…a light drizzle every now and then, interspersed with a delightful view of the moon, aglow with a silver light. >From a distance I could see a silhouette of a tall and statuesque lady. Though >her shoulders seemed to droop somewhat, she seemed to be listlessly wandering >around. As I came up close to her, I could see her face contorted with an >expression of great pain. I asked her if I could help her in some way. She >straightened up, flung her head back and laughed aloud…a bitter laugh. “Yes, my dear, you can certainly help. I could do with a lot of help. You can help me by helping yourself. When you clean up your own act you help me.” Even in the dark, I could make out her regal bearing and noble features. She seemed middle aged and though her countenance was pale, her face radiated aristocratic beauty and softness. “Mother, why are you out alone? Why do you appear to be forsaken? Are you lost? Where are your children? Do you remember a number that I can call?” My words of concern were greeted with tears… and laughter that had its origin in deep sorrow. She was silent and self-absorbed. After a while, she sank to the ground on her knees and joined her palms in prayer. Even as I watched, she crumbled to the ground, tears streaming from her tired eyes. I sat beside her, lifting and cradling her in my arms. “Oh, Mother…what torments you so…? Tell me your woes…” “Dear child, you ask me if I remember a number to call…I have a number of children, I remember them all, but they all seemed to have forgotten their Mother; you ask me why am I alone and forsaken and whether I am lost…? Isn’t that your question? Well, my child, though I am surrounded by all my children all the time, I remain lost and forgotten, for they choose to forsake me. I have looked after them all, with all that I have got. Right through the passage of time I nursed and nurtured them in the course of eons gone by. The ones who had love and reverence, who valued me, who gave up their lives to free me have left me in the hands of those who ignore me, who have no time for me, who are just interested in how much they can make, how wealthy they can get, through material take, take and take. It is their callous disregard that makes me break. They scheme and fight, the ‘freedom at midnight’ is dust ridden and out of sight. Is anyone free? Is anyone independent? What can you gain by ignoring the Mother’s pain? The internal threat looms larger than external threats, individually and collectively. You are free when you follow Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema, and Ahimsa. Real freedom lies in shedding disharmony and embracing harmony; in overcoming disunity with unity; dishonesty with honesty; violence of any kind with non-violence; and insatiable greed and selfish pursuits with purity of intent, selflessness and love. When death knocks there is nothing that you can take with you. My eyes have gone dim searching for at least some of my children who display these qualities. Have they all vanished out of sight? Did something happen that they are now extinct? Is there anyone who cares at all, who can take charge with integrity, who can wipe my tears and make my heart smile?” I made her a promise that night, even as I realized that I held a weeping Mother India in my arms; a vow that I intend to keep, to be vigilant how I tread all day and even as I sleep I will give her all I have, even as she has given me. She is one of the Mothers to be worshipped, along with the others, as per the Beloved One’s decree – Mother Earth, Mother Nature, Motherland, Mother Cow, Veda Mata, Mother who gives birth to the body and the Divine Mother. The life breath of the ones, Who got us independence, Should not be in vain… And with every breath, I must ask myself , How does freedom reign? Am I free personally, >From any kind of violent thought, word and deed? Could be anger, Could be greed, Have I myself truly freed? I must give my Mother her due, Every tiny drop does count, So may I ask you, To join me too, Together we can wipe her tears and restore, The reverence, love and glory, She once knew… Mera Bharat Mahaan…Maa Tujhe Salaam… II Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu II sourced: http://www.theprasanthireporter.org/2013/08/how-free-is-she%e2%80%a6how-free-are-we%e2%80%a6/ Conversation with PADMA VIBHUSHAN Dr. M BALAMURALI KRISHNA (TELUGU)… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmcMMle1tC4 When my arms cannot reach people who are close to my heart, I always hug them with my prayers -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "saimsg" group.
