Sr. A .Ramakrishna,74, Former President and Deputy Managing Director of LARSEN TOUBRO LIMITED(Engineering Construction and Contracts Division) had merged with Swami Tuesday night at Hyderabad. Larsen Toubro, a leader in construction, began with the stint of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust in 1990 and still continuing it's journey,turning ambitious plans and dreams into a reality.During the course of last two decades L7T executed a wide variety of projects meeting the pressing demands of it's ever increasing construction mission.This company ha undertaken almost all the constructions in Prashanthi nilayam and outside with low cost ,limited profits but with high quality and completed well ahead of time with sttringent time frame with the guidance of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at every inch of the construction.The projects executed for Swami's service activities are matchless in character monumental in stature and in divine nature as without the divine blessings of Swami L&T would not have succeeded in completing the projects. The first work of L&T in Bhagwan's cause was housing for enormous number of devotees for their short term and long term stay.A new technology was used in this project.S N W blocks were completed within 3-4 months and modified as per Swami's instructions for the comforts of hIS devotees.The job was executed at rates lower than normal rate per sq ft.The following are most of the constructions taken up by L&T. Hanuman statue at the open air stadium, South Indian canteen,Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prashanthigram and Whitefied,Water supply projects,Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagam,Sri Sathya Sai Airport,Yazur mandir,Sri Sathya SAi Indoor stadium,Sri Sathya Sai University,Muddenahalli,Sai Bhaktha Nivas,Sri Sathya Sai International Centre,Delhi. A.Ramakrishna received the FIP certificate for the Most outstanding Concrete Structure Award-1994 for Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagam at Hyderabad, at the Washington congress. L&T and it's management and staff are very fortunate to get associated with the service to mankind of our beloved Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as Swami is with them at every step and at every inch of the contruction activitiy guiding,advicing and instructing them to complete the projects within a stipulated short time for the welfare of the entire humanity.L&T which is a leader in the construction ows it's success worldwide entirely to our beloved Swami.L&T is an example to others to participate in the service activities of Swami.
