What Are You Afraid Of?
What are you afraid of? Living with less? If you remember
that God’s grace is always with you, then whatever you receive will always be
more than you can ever expect!
What are you afraid of? Pain? If you remember that you exist in the Body
of God consciousness, then you will see your body as a limb of the divine, and
you will spread yourself in the ocean of Supreme consciousness, and in its
bliss, you shall no more be aware of the body that is born to die……
What are you afraid of? Failures? Loss? If you, O friend, were only to
remember the glory of God and be able to see the miracles of His million hands,
you would give up the pride that attaches your “I” to your work….. any work
that you do is the work of God, and the completion of divine work will always
give one the realization of God in Him and He in God….
What are you afraid of? If God watches over you or not? If you were to
remember that each day when you awoke, He lit the sky with golden hues of the
sun….. each time you took a breath, the air whispered His name to you…. each
time the cool rain drops fell upon your face, you felt His touch soft upon
you….. each time you looked up at the dark skies at night, the stars twinkled
as if He blinked His eyes and said, “I am there with you….. don’t worry…..” and
then when the clouds thundered, He reminded you to obey the rule of nature….
only to protect you…… and when the fires swallowed the forests, He showed a
glimpse of truth that all that comes shall return to dust, and in the glowing
fires, only the brilliant word of God remains….. He allowed you to cry so you
can overcome pain, and then He gave to you the strength to reach for the tears
of joy…. He allowed you to build your home, and then shook it in a quake only
to remind you that this home is temporary, and the Heavens await your arrival.
He brought the storms…… the tornadoes….. the floods, only for you to see that
whenever God has been silenced with desire, there is where He shall rise again
and bring truth to rule, and flood every home with peace…. He watched over all
the time….. sometimes He takes….. sometimes he gives, but in both, He brings
His Self to you…. and to me……
