Sai Ram, 'Sathya Sai with Students' Team presents articles for Week 64:
1. Discourses to Students: We all have different understanding of what God is. For some, He is the Emperor of the Universe, for some He is the Tough Taskmaster, and for some He is the Compassionate Cosmic Mother. In a Discourse to His students at Trayee Brindavan on April 9, 1999, Swami told them: 'God is a Postman'. http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2013/12/god-is-postman.html 2. Experiences of Students: Brother Hari Shankar writes on the theme: "The Golden Chapters of my life at His University." http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2013/12/the-golden-chapters-of-my-life-at-his.html 3. Conversations with Students: Swami is a master-story teller who always gives the inner significance of the great legends from Indian history. In one such conversation with His students in the interview room on August 30, 1991, Swami told the students about: "The significance of the 5 husbands of Draupadi". http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2013/12/what-did-draupadis-five-husbands-signify.html 4. Management Lessons: It is said that India lives in its villages. No doubt, the service activity most dear to our Lord is Rural Development. This week, we conclude with the last part of this multi-part series on the theme of 'Integrated Rural Development: Guidelines by Sri Sathya Sai' given to students of the Management programme of His University by Swami on different occasions during the last two decades. http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2013/12/integrated-rural-development-guidelines.html 5. This Day That Age: It was in this month in 1971 that the India-Pakistan War was in full swing. However, in a mysterious way, Swami had blessed victory for India in this war 6 months earlier in July 1971. Let's read about it... http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2013/12/when-sri-sathya-sai-blessed-victory-for.html 6. Song for the Soul: As the Christmas season is about to begin, we present a month-long collection of English songs an carols. This week we have 'When the Darkness is Falling Away...' http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2013/12/when-darkness-is-falling-away.html Click the link to read 370 full articles on 'Sathya Sai with Students': http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/ Visit us: Facebook: www.facebook.com/SathyaSaiWithStudents Google+: https://plus.google.com/108773725221384230860/posts Twitter: http://goo.gl/VaH10 Sai Students Books: www.saipublications.com Sai Students Books available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=saistudents Please forward the link to your class groups, friends, Sai devotees and Samiti members. Loving Regards 'Sathya Sai with Students' Blog Team Sri Sathya Sai Hostel for Senior Students Prasanthi Nilayam Follow the Divine Command Om Sri Sai Ram. Swami has always emphasised privately and in His divine discourses that He has a unique Heart- to- Heart relationship with each devotee and has no intermediaries. As sincere spiritual seekers let us focus only on Swami and His message and not be deluded by outside distractions. Sadhana is the inward path. Several claims have been made in the recent past by individuals, organisations and others who are either claiming to be Sai Baba or claiming to have received instructions from Him. They are seeking donations, participation and support for their organisation. It is good to remember and practice what Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself has said about such activities. Please share the attached document with the Central Coordinators, Deputy Central Coordinators and National Council Presidents and request them to circulate this among all Sathya Sai Centers, Sathya Sai Groups, Sathya Sai Trusts and Sathya Sai Educational Institutions. Let us sanctify and redeem our lives by implicitly following the divine instructions and being focused on the goal without being distracted by anyone or other external influences. I wish all of you a happy and holy holiday season. Jai Sai Ram.
