If we choose to only respond, we will allow the Self to be in control, and thereby, we will become closer to God." This vision came to me as I was drifting out of slumber this morning. I saw it very clearly and heard the words going round my head several times. As I meditate on its meaning, I suddenly realised what a wonderful revelation this is. If each day is a new gift, we will always have fresh hope and second chances... Life is a continuous flow of golden opportunities! As a normal human being, we tend to react, sometimes over-react, to circumstances. Therein lies our weaknesses and chaos will ensue. Thus, Maya has gained the upper hand once again. Hence, we must learn to respond instead... By doing so, we will allow the Higher Self within us to take charge of the situation and right actions will be accomplished.
