The Spirit of Joy Sadness is a curtain that is drawn by the ego to block the sunrise of happiness. You are born to be happy no matter what face of life shows itself to you. There is no one that can make you sad........ There is nothing that can make you miserable........ It is you that gives up easily upon your source of inner joy and instead places your attention upon the uncertainty of time and the fearful threats posed by the ego. Most wait to be rescued by an outer source to remove their fears and moments of sadness........ It is you that imposed upon yourself the moment of fear........ it is you that clings to your desire and supports its validity...... then it is you that can alone understand your misunderstanding and rescue yourself from it. Why be sad when there is always a moment of happiness waiting for you? Why be sad when you can draw spontaneously soulful joy from within and create the perfect moment of bliss. Wipe off the reasons that make you happy....... Why must you be happy....... simply because that is the spirit of you soul...... When you cling to the reasons of happiness the moment of sadness is born....... Of course you are going to be lonely when you cling to sadness...... No one wishes to befriend the one that bears the gloomy mind and sheds on them the tears of tomorrow. Let the peels of sweet innocent laughter brighten your day....... There is nothing more energizing than laughing from your heart. You deserve to be happy........ not because of what you have become in life or what you have........ You deserve to be happy because you are born to live moment to moment and in each moment you become aware of your soul that is eternally connected to God. Within your breath is a wave of joy....... Those that trap the nectarine sweetness of the soul never look for joy outside themselves ever again....... However close you may be to someone you still need the moments to be alone in which you can retreat to the spirit of joy within. The curtain of sadness leads your lingering trails of desires. The sun reflects its glorious rays when the skies are clear....... In the same way when the mind is clear it becomes expansive and it reflects within itself the spirit of joy that emanates from the soul. Be happy....... be content........ be grateful to God at every moment......... The spirit of joy is the only world that the soul knows...... and within this world are the timely gifts....... and the miracles of Divine Grace.
