An Awakening to Peace Always be happy. No matter what hardship comes before you…you must not waver from thinking of Me. Be strong… Do not compromise with the laws of truth just in order to receive short term gains. Return to the comfort of My eternal presence within you and you shall instantly taste the sweet nectar of peace. In the atma is the word of the Universal Consciousness (Sohum: Me in you and you in Me). As long as you do not move from the center of this Consciousness no harm will come to you. I am always there to protect you. Your only duty is to offer at every moment your body… mind… intellect and soul to Me……… As the sun rises, you too must rise with this thought alone. At every moment you must be conscious of the offering of your Self that you make to Me. Be aware at all times in your thought, in what you speak, and in whatever you do that I am in you and you in Me. Derive your strength from that center………… walk every path knowing that alone to be your goal…….. and realize all that you see before you is a passing cloud. The only thing that shall remain now and beyond time is the word that fills you, this universe and creation and all that is ever to know and beyond. Immerse yourself in ‘Sohum’ and the power of the word shall take you and guide you in the present moment keeping you at peace and away from the fear of the moment to come. As long as you do that I shall do the needful for you moment to moment and keep you safe from the miseries of the mind and its projections… Devotion is the love for the love that God has for you……… Remember My love that surrounds you and contains you. Just remembering that will give you the strength of a million elephants and will make you witness with ease the times that are to come. Wind yourself around My vow of love (‘Sohum’) just like a snake that wraps itself around the trunk of a tree… I promise you if you are to believe even for a moment of My love for you all your troubles shall vanish, and you shall return to Me with simple faith and sincere devotion. Simply seeing your inseparableness from Me shall make you walk through the tunnel of time without seeing its darkness. Your faith that you are one with Me and I with you shall fill you with the absolute truth. All the threats that the mind poses shall dissolve in the brilliance of the Divine Light that you shall see in your soul. Say to yourself, “All that I see is what I fear that may come to me. Let me close my eyes and see instead the love that my beloved God has for me. Let Him see what lies ahead. Let me place the eye of my thoughts into the eye of my Lord. Let me see my thoughts as the enemy of fears that comes in the way of my faith.
