The Essence of the Soul The essence of every soul is God. As one caters to the desires of the mind, one begins to become distant from this essence, and instead, one begins to form a closeness.... a bond with the joys that he receives from a source outside of his Self. This, too, is a delusion for the essence of the soul never belonged to you...... You call it your Self..... your soul, but that too is a play of words that brings you into delusion. As long as there is your self there is the other self..... and as long as there is you and the other self there is the world.... It is from that thought... that understanding, that pain.... joy..... riches..... fear..... ups and downs come into play...... Yes! all of this becomes a play directed by the mind and the false intellect. I call it the false intellect for all this understanding only favors the you..... it favors your survival..... it favors your gains..... it favors your joys...... Then, what is the reality you ask..... The reality is so simple and true yet absurd to the mind...... The reality of completeness..... oneness..... and expansiveness cannot be thought of nor understood. For the two to become one the mind has to dissolve in purity...... the intellect has to dive into the depth of love where there is no return....... No one can speak of the truth for there is no Self left....... The essence of the Self has no characteristics........ it has no movement..... it has nothing other than its being and hence it cannot be known....... But when one even receives a fraction of its being ones transformation is evident....... one experiencing a speck of this fullness can bring spiritual joy to millions........ Each souls journey is the same....... what differs is the road and the two feet that walk their chosen path....... There is no one that is yet not walking or not going to walk...... Each soul brings with them the way....... the steps...... the friend...... for the journey...... Each soul speaks to God through his love for someone........ or something....... Each one is stretching his hand for the drop of nectar....... the sweet nectar within which is the very essence of every soul! That essence that remains nameless formless with no nature to describe........ no characteristics to tell...... no place it can be....... yet no place can be without...... that essence whose birth was before the beginning....... whose end is the very beginning of it Self........ that essence that is silent and has no language yet is the word of every expression...... that essence that is expansive yet it is complete in its being...... that essence that contains bliss within its being...... that essence that brings the movement of time and the birth of consciousness....... that essence that is the law of the universe and the will of all who are born from it........ that essence in which all is contained....... all is protected and all that comes returns to its being........ that essence that is in every soul is God..........
