What is God’s real nature? Why is it important to understand it and love God
with all our heart? Bhagawan elucidates today.

Today’s Sai Inspires from Prasanthi Nilayam, Thursday, June 12, 2014

God is beyond all qualitie...s. He is blemishless, steady and selfless
(Nirmalam, Nischalam and Niswartham). He is beyond time and space. Don’t try to
confine God to just one form. Install the principle that God is the Divine Soul
(Atma) present within you and contemplate on Him. In every step, everything you
see, God is present. God is the current that makes fans work; God is the mike
that absorbs the sound, and the speakers that help others listen. If you put
off the main switch, all the lights will go out. When you forget Divinity, you
forget everything. Love God deeply, from within. Love God and you will be able
to conquer the demons of bad qualities and also develop the society. Only a
person with character can bring development in society. Only the one with love
for God can lead a life of morality. Morality is truly a life principle.
Without morality there is no community.

- My Dear Students, Vol 2, Ch 12, June 4, 2009.

Money comes and goes, morality comes and grows. - Baba

'Sathya Sai with Students' Blog Update - Week 91: Summer Course Special

Sai Ram,

As the Summer Course on Indian Culture and Spirituality will be organised this
weekend at Prasanthi Nilayam for the students and staff of the Sri Sathya Sai
Educational Institutions, the articles of this week are focussed on this theme.

1. DISCOURSES TO STUDENTS: While addressing one of the first Summer Courses on
Indian Culture and Spirituality, Swami had said that 'The youth of today have
no idea of the glory of Bharat and its rich heritage, its culture and its
scriptures. No one has taken care to make them aware of this treasure house of
wisdom. Hence, I am taking upon Myself the responsibility of telling them the
glory of Bharat.' Thus began the saga of Summer Courses on Indian Culture and
Spirituality - a total of 15 courses organised in His physical presence between
1972 and 2002. In this context of the glory of our scriptures and epics, Swami
tells us: "Why should we study the sacred Indian texts?"

2. EXPERIENCES OF STUDENTS: Brother Sai Chittaranjan writes on the theme: "He
is My Son, I will take care of him...".

http://sathyasaiwithstudents.blogspot.in/2014/06/he-is-my-son-i-will-take-care-of-him-by.html

3. CONVERSATIONS WITH STUDENTS: In the years gone by, this is the time of the
year when students and staff of Swami's educational institutions would be back
in Prasanthi Nilayam after the most fulfilling Summer Course on Indian Culture
and Spirituality held at Brindavan during the latter half of the summer
vacations. On one such occasion, on June 11, 2002, Swami, the Revered Founder
Chancellor of the Institute conducted a surprise 'viva' for the students on the
topics studied during the Summer Course of 2002 in the Prasanthi Nilayam Mandir
portico... Read on for a very fascinating conversation...

4. MANAGEMENT LESSONS: Personality and its development is one of the core areas
for managers to focus on - for themselves as well as their under-trainee
juniors. In a discourse to His students Swami highlighted the three major
factors influencing individual personality. We present the second part of this
multi-part series.

5. THIS DAY THAT AGE: The Summer Courses of yore conducted by Swami for
students from all over India were a gala occasion with the most eminent
scholars from across the country gathering in Brindavan to give most erudite
speeches to inspire students and staff on diverse topics of importance. We
reminisce the first three summer courses held in Swami's physical presence in
the years 1972 to 1974.

6. SONG FOR THE SOUL: The Summer Course is a time to reflect on the unity of
creation, the unity of religions, the unity of all mankind. This week we have a
Hindi song (with translation and audio) sung by Swami's students on many
occasions on this very theme of unity. 'Aao Sab Milkar Gaayen... Let's sing
together the song of unity'.

Radio Sai Thursday Live Afternoon Satsang Special: ”How do I know that I am
making progress spiritually?"

Isn't this a question that all of us get sometime or the other. Goal setting
and goal getting always teach us to measure our progress... and it is natural
that we seek to see where we stand in our spiritual journey. What has beloved
Swami said about this?

That will be the topic of special discussion to be continued on the Thursday
LIVE, Afternoon Satsangh, tomorrow on the Asia stream of
<http://www.radiosai.org/> www.radiosai.org at 12:30pm IST.
