Be aware, for in your devotion to God,
Ego lurks around the corner, Slyly sliding its way, Separating the distance between us. Love Me, but have no pride. Accept Me with no “ifs and no “buts”. Dance this music of life with Me. Let the melody of God’s voice stir you within. Let the strings of your soul, Play the song of love at the touch of My fingertips. Sweetness lies in the silence of the “I”. God awakens in your life, only when you are ready, Ready to accept Him, Ready to accept your true reality, And ready to accept total surrender. From: Sai Darshan by Seema Dewan September 26 Death is but a passage from this life to the next. It is a change from old clothes to new as the Gita says. Some cynics laugh at the comparisons and ask, "What about the death of new-born infants, children, youths and middle- aged persons? Their bodies cannot be classified as 'worn - out '. "Well, the clothes may not be old, but the cloth out of which those clothes were made must have been of very old stock, so that the new clothes prepared from it had to be discarded soon. Again, there are some crooked men who refuse to believe in a previous life, because they cannot recollect the events. These people cannot recall events of a particular festival five or ten years ago, although they were very much alive then! Forgetting the events of that day does not mean that they were not alive on that day, it only means that they did not pay special heed to them, had no special reason to commit them to memory.
