In every age He incarnates…. the Ancient One…Adi Guru Lord Dattatreya… Divine
legends of yore has umpteen reference of Divine Incarnations…and about ‘The
Oneness’ of all these varied forms… Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Who Is ‘The
Adimoolam’, Supreme Divinty, Who described Himself as Shiva – Shakthi, Supreme
Brahmam and Maha Maya in a Single Form… has also revealed Himself to be Lord
Dattatreya… verily He Is Lord Dattatreya… read on how Bhagawan revealed His
original entity as Lord Dattatreya…
O Bhagawan, “Swami, what is Your real form?” Baba smiled and replied,
“Bangaroo, I will show it to you some day.” That day came when Baba visited
Mudumalai forest. One day after breakfast, Baba walked on to the beautiful
meadow in front of the guest house and posed for photographs with every member
of the party. A Polaroid camera was used by a student to click the photographs.
The photos
were given to the members instantly. Finally, Baba asked the student to take a
snap of Him standing alone. But, the lower part of His orange robe had been
caught in the twigs of a bush. Before the camera clicked, Smt Ratanlal rushed
forward to set right the folds of the robe. Everyone was astonished when
Bhagawan shouted at her loudly “Don’t touch Me!” and she retreated quickly.
After the camera clicked, Baba held the photo coming out of the camera and gave
it to Joga Rao. As he held it in his palm, the black and white Polaroid picture
developed gradually.
But he was astonished at what did he saw. In the place where he had expected to
see Baba’s form in the usual robe, there stood a young human form, which wore a
white flowing garment, had three heads and six hands! Each arm was holding an
insignia of Divinity. The lower right arm bent at the elbow, was resting on the
back of a majestic young cow. The face in the centre was that of Baba! It was
the form of Dattatreya as described in Puranas, the integrated form of Trinity
– Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara!. Baba had answered Joga Rao’s question. That
was His real form! Bhagawan confirmed while speaking to the students at
Brindavan the next morning that it was indeed His true form. He also clarified
that Smt Ratanlal would not have survived if she had touched Him then.

Today many parents, even those highly educated, are acting without any sense of
discrimination – discouraging children from worshipping God and participating
in bhajans. They tell them that they would have ample time to think of God,
post retirement. This is a grave mistake. You can remember God in old age, only
when you practice thinking of Him from early on. Childhood is a very sacred and
golden phase in human life - do not misuse it! Gayatri Mantra is the embodiment
of Mother Principle. Practice chanting it every day – in the morning, afternoon
and evening. When your back is towards the Sun, your shadow will be in front of
you. It will fall behind you only when you stand facing the Sun. Similarly
illusion (maya), which is like your shadow, will overpower you when you turn
your mind away from God. You can easily overcome illusion, when you turn your
mind towards God.

SESHAMA: It was our pleasure to receive your kind hospitality.
RAMA RAJU: Places visited by the pious become holy and sacred. In such places,
even the grains of sand contemplate on the Divine! ……..Seshama Raju, please

with processing, man develops Divinity with culture and refinement.

Shirdi Sai Parthi Sai was a tele serial originally made in Telugu, which was
later translated into many languages. This effort was a devotional offering of
legendary Indian actress, Anjali Devi. Swami blessed the commencement of this
project in Guru Poornima of 1998 and released it exactly a year later. The
speciality of the serial is the narration of the birth and childhood of Shirdi
Baba, a revelation that Swami made in the late 80s.

SATHYA: Venkamma, enough. The pain will go off by itself.
SUBBAMMA: Boy, is it paining much? That wicked fellow tortured the poor
innocent child and even shaved the head.
EASWARAMMA: Subbamma! I pleaded that Sathya should not be taken to that witch
doctor; but no one listened to my words! That evil man has even slashed the
scalp. How much my dear boy would have suffered! I don’t know how He was able
to bear it all.
SISTER: We were under the impression that he would merely chant some
incantations and set things right. We did not even dream that he would inflict
torture like this.
KONDAMA RAJU: If, instead of treating, he inflicted torture like this, he
cannot be a native doctor; rather, he must be the devil itself!
SISTER: Grandpa, all his methods were brutal. That’s why, we quietly escaped
without anyone’s knowledge and came away. If we had not, he would have caused
even greater harm to Sathyam.
FATHER: Seshama had at least that much sense!
SUBBAMMA: Easwaramma, right away stop all these crazy treatments. Sathyam is
the boon of Lord Sathya Narayana. That God will be the support of Sathyam and
protect Him. I will now take your leave, Easwaramma. ….Sathyam I will be back
later.
SATHYA: Alright Subbamma. ……[To sister who is trying to apply balm] No,
Venkamma, it would heal on its own.
SISTER: Sathyam, don’t say that! Unless some medicine is applied, it cannot
heal on its own.
EASWARAMMA: My dear boy, don’t say no; allow the medicine to be applied.
