Is it possible to ever live by truth? What are the obstacles in the path?
Bhagawan lovingly explains to us today and gives us the recipe to live in peace
and joy for ever.

Today’s Sai Inspires from Prasanthi Nilayam, Friday, January 30, 2015

The Gita advises everyone to adopt ‘inoffensive speech, which is truthful,
pleasant and beneficial.’ During the practice of the Sadhana of truth, at
times, it may become necessary to reveal an unpleasant truth. At those moments,
you must ...soften and sweeten its impact by consciously charging it with love,
sympathy, and understanding. Help ever hurt never - that is the maxim. Revere
truth as your very breath. Your promises are sacred bonds. Never break the vow
of truth. The only obstruction to practicing truth anyone will face, is
selfishness. Give up selfishness, adhere to truth and selfless love, let your
heart be attuned to truth and the mind saturated with love. The triple purity -
speech free from the pollution of falsehood, mind free from the taint of
passionate desire or hatred, and the body free from the poison of violence -
must be taken up by everyone as ideals and lived in accordance with.

- Divine Discourse, Dec 5, 1985.

You may not always oblige, but you can always speak obligingly.-BABA.

A huge crowd had assembled at the sacred ground of 'Dharmakshetra' for the
laksharchana performed by Shri Vadgama from U.K and arranged by Sri Sathya Sai
Seva Organisation Mumbai.

More details of Shri Vadgama's laksharchana can be accessed from the following
link:
 <http://www.laksharchana.com/web/about> http://www.laksharchana.com/web/about

The entire place reverberated with the chanting of nine malas of the mantra
'Aum Sri Sathya Sai Krishnaya Namah'.

In fact Bhagawan in his own signature style had blessed in advance with the
vibhuti appearing in many photos which were kept in Anand Kutir at
Dharmakshetra.

The public were allowed to have special darshan of the vibhuti appearing on
Swami's photos.

The laksharchana was held in honour of late Smt Sarlaben Shah who had devoted
her entire lifetime to the service of her Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Premaswarupa - The Embodiment of Pure Love

Swami’s life has been a message of Pure Love – Selfless Love and Boundless
Sacrifice. We talk about it, give lectures on this, and say that only God can
do it; we cannot. That is the myth I want to demolish. God comes down in human
form to show that humans can do what He does as an avatar (incarnation of God)
for the simple reason that the same God is in all of us.

The Love that God has and exhibits is of an entirely different dimension and it
is something beyond this world; this is the point we should grasp. That Love
has no parallel; it is a unique attribute of God - it is Pure Love. How does
Pure Love manifest itself? Through compassion; and this we do not understand.
But we are familiar with sacrifice because every mother sacrifices. Therefore
we must try to understand Pure Love in terms of sacrifice. God does not feel
any sense of sacrifice. For Him there is no such thing as sacrifice.

(An excerpt from UNLOCKING THE POWER OF PURE LOVE by Prof. G. Venkataraman)

“Every human being needs love, inhales and exhales love. Love is the basic
breath; every one is the embodiment of Love. Love knows no fear; it seeks no
rewards; love is its own reward. When it is directed towards God, it is called
Bhakthi. Love removes all egoism; the self is forgotten, it is superseded, it
is transcended. Divinity is the magnet. Humanity is the iron. Love is the force
that brings them together. Nara is the iron, Narayana is the magnet. Bhakthi or
love is the force that draws the two together.” Excerpt from Divine Discourse

Feel free to download this “PREMASWARUPA” Calendar and set this as your desktop
wallpaper.

Remove the curtains of ignorance from your life and decorate yourselves with
the pearls of wisdom. Feel His universal love and blessings always in your
life. Cherish every moments in your heart as every moment is filled with His
eternal Love of His selfless affection. Live in His Love and make His Love your
life.

Thank you and loving Sai Ram,
Team Radio Sai

What is the sign of a “true devotee”? Bhagawan clearly explains to us today.

Today’s Sai Inspires from Prasanthi Nilayam, Sunday, February 01, 2015

<https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/1513649_799790543443419_1648561419459611035_n.jpg?oh=e55caecd77f9bebd0ed292137b655005&oe=5560ADB1&__gda__=1432114383_3aeb7a0011241b7265e63b1d182840b5>

The gross body (Sthula deha) should be ever immersed in holy company
(Satsanga), and the subtle body (Sukshma deha), that is your thoughts and
feelings, should be ever immersed in the contemplation of the glory of the
Lord. That is the sign of a true devotee. The one who shouts and swears, and
advertises one’s worries to everyone ...they meet and craves for sympathy, is a
devotee only in name! It is a great responsibility to tread the Godward path.
On such a pilgrimage there is no sliding back, no halfway stop, no tardy pace
or no side lane. Never deny with your tongue what you have relished in the
heart; never bear false witness to your own experience. Become a true devotee
with unshaken faith, and with an attitude of complete self-surrender. This
attitude can come from constant, sincere and continuous remembrance of the
Lord’s name, as continuous as the act of breathing!

- Divine Discourse, 28-Dec-1960.

To regard the universe as a manifestation of God and to experience it as such
is real devotion. - BABA.

<http://www.sssbpt.org/images/watchyourthoughts_jan2013~.jpg>

 <http://www.theprasanthireporter.org/2015/01/watch-your-thoughts/> Watch Your
Thoughts…

Saturday, January 31st, 2015

Man, a rare species with the faculty to think and discriminate, often fails to
look within, to view his inner personality, examining the dark side of his own
thoughts. Does time spent in examining one’s own thoughts mean wasting precious
life time? …or is it a worthwhile exercise?…Sri Shyam Juwale from Mumbai shares
his thoughts based on invaluable tips received from Bhagawan…

Thoughts come and go. This is a continuous process which goes on in every
human mind from birth to death. No gap is left in between two thoughts. Very
seldom do we wait and examine our own thoughts. Thinking about our own
thoughts really gives us an opportunity to look to our own image in our own
mind. We are accustomed to look at our physical form in a mirror but we neglect
to see the inner personality in our own mind. This is so because we are ashamed
to examine the dark side of our own thoughts. I honestly feel that this is
exactly where we need the divine guidance of Bhagawan Baba.

 Watch Your Thoughts…
<http://www.sssbpt.org/images/watchyourthoughts1_jan2013.jpg>

I first met Bhagawan Baba at Brindavan, Bangalore, on May 27, 1963. I
personally consider this day as the most precious day of my life. It is Baba
Who first threw light on the weak side of my mind and gave me valuable
instructions to improve the thoughts which are responsible for building up
one’s career. Baba said that the time spent in examining our own thoughts does
not mean wasting a valuable part of our precious life, but it really means we
are testing our mind for our own good. He further advised me not to commit any
mistake in this regard; the word `MISTAKE’ consists of two words, viz. ‘MIS’
(miss) and ‘TAKE’. He continued His advice and smilingly said that wherever and
whenever we “miss” something, we necessarily have to “take” the consequence
thereof. What a fine lesson for us human beings who generally never think about
our thoughts.

 Watch Your Thoughts…
<http://www.sssbpt.org/images/watchyourthoughts2_jan2013.jpg>

The interview on that day which lasted about an hour gave me a new look towards
my personal life. I became conscious of the purpose of human life and attempted
to do every little action with great care remembering Baba from moment to
moment. I really find both pleasure and peace when I mentally get His Divine
association. All cannot get Baba’s physical presence all through, but everybody
can ensure His Omnipresence in one’s own heart by always keeping it unsullied
and pure. His image is wiped out from there only when unworthy thoughts peep
therein. In this respect it is my humble experience that when the mind takes
refuge in the void between two thoughts, the heavenly joy that I get can never
be found anywhere. For this valuable experience, one should be able to see or
locate where one thought ends and the other is yet to begin. It is exactly like
resting the mind in between the recital of two Omkars.

 Watch Your Thoughts…
<http://www.sssbpt.org/images/watchyourthoughts3_jan2013.jpg>

Finally, I am of the opinion that the treasury of noble thoughts that one
possesses is more precious than any other treasure in the world. One should be
ever vigilant to allow only noble thoughts in the mind, strictly refusing entry
to all bad thoughts. When one carries out this hard and difficult task, one can
adhere to the following advice which Bhagawan Baba gives in His discourses and
personal interviews very often:

Be Good, Do Good and See Good. This is the way to God.

II Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu II
