Do not take advantage of other’s goodness to you.
Do not expect something from others
That you cannot give.
Accept any kind of help given to you with a smile.
With a sense of gratitude and reverence.
Do not criticize other’s service given to you.
I take different forms to help you in life
Devaluing other’s help
Is demeaning My love given to you.
You have no right to grade one’s love to you.
Everyone shows love in their own unique way.
A father’s love is different from a husband’s love.
They stand firm in their own separate grounds.
They are incomparable.
Expectations from others will only hurt you.
They will make you bitter and sour towards life.
Time waits for none and life is short.
So give up your differences and unite in your love.
From: Sai Darshan by Seema Dewan
No-one can liberate you, for no-one has bound you. You hold on to the nettle
of worldly pleasure and you weep for pain. The kite is pursued as long as it
carries the fish in its beak. It tries twisting and turning in the sky to
dodge the crows that seek to snatch the fish till it finally tires and drops
it. At that moment it is free. It can then sit peacefully on a tree, preening
its wings and enjoying its happiness. So give up your attachment to the
senses. Then grief and worry can harass you no more. You, too, can enjoy
happiness when you drop the fish you have in your beak.
