Story behind the photo – 193 – Divine Vibrations from Likhitha Namam.

We are standing just behind the Temple Mandap of Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and
hanuman.

As we enter Prashanthi Mandir complex from the Gopuram gate, there is the
beautiful temple of Sri Rama, Mother Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman. The two gates
from either sides leads to a single road. Many devotees are not knowing the
significance of this sacred area.

Sri. Subramania Chettiar, father of Sri. Sriinivasan chettiar started a nice
sadhana of writing Rama Nama on note books. This was called Likhitha Yagna. He
was able to build up huge groups of sai devotees from all over the world, and
initiated them into this Likhitha Yagna. He himself provided the stationary for
this purpose. All the books were meticulously collected back. By the year 2000
several truck loads of “Rama Nama” books were brought to Prashanthhi Nilayam.
It was calculated that 108 crores of Rama Namas had been written by devotees.

Swami matched up the enthusiasm and devotion of the devotees. He arranged to
dig up the area and constructed an underground concrete vault. Amid chanting of
Vedas and Bhajans all the books were deposited in this vault which was sealed
off. As per Divine command an Idol of Hanuman was installed over this vault.

The year 2002 . It was the summer months in Puttaparthi. We were engaged in
gold foil decorations in Sai Kulwant Hall. Simultaneously Larsen & Toubro was
taking the massive work of extending the Sai Kulwant Hall. Two trees in the
far end had to be cut. When the workers started cutting the first tree, there
was a big sound coming up. Swami who was in Bridavan, Whitefield was informed,
and got instructions, to save the next tree, and change the Border line of sai
Kulwant hall slightly. A Hanuman statue which was there had been removed as a
temporary measure to enable fixing up scaffoldings.

On the day of installation of Sri Rama Parivar, Swami came out of His residence
and walked around the newly built Mantap. Swami walked anti clockwise, which is
unusual. Few months later, I was blessed with a group interview, Swami was
speaking about some incidences in Ramayana. I asked swami, why Swami walked
anti clockwise, on the day of installation. Swami briefly explained the
following points.

The 108 crores of Rama Nama inside the underground vault had been generating
heavy vibrations. Sri Hanuman’s statue absorbed as much vibrations as possible
and the vibrations had reached out the two trees. That was why sound came out
when a tree was cut off. Swami had now decided that only Sri Rama Himself could
contain the Heavy Divine Vibrations and that is why Swami willed that this
temple come up over the vault. Swami had also inserted a “Rama Linga” on the
base of the Idol. Swami told that on the day of installation, Swami had in fact
the released the divine vibrations, which had hitherto been contained by Him.

The vault is situated in an area from Rama Temple and a few yards behind It.
This is a most sacred area in Prashanthi Nilayam, and should be treated as such
and treated reverently. The divine vibrations in this area are as much as in
Sai Sannidhi area. If necessary a small pavement may be ear marked for people
to walk over, but certainly not through the centre area.

Please come to Parthi again and again , try to know places, and visits such
holy places too.....

With Love and Regards, Mumbai Srinivasan.
