This evening when the ongoing Rajasthan Parthi Yatra entered day 2 here, the famed Manganiyar Lok Kalakar Group led by the renowned Anwar Khan Manganiyar presented an electrifying Rajasthan Folk Musical offering – “Padharo Mhare Des” ( ‘O Lord, come to our Land’) in Prasanthi Nilayam. A host of Manganiyar musicians accompanied the peer, Anwar Khan Manganiyar, this evening, presenting a scintillating, exhilarating portrayal of folk-music that radiated pure devotional ecstasy. The hour-long concert ended with an invocation to Bhagawan, a lively title song – “Padharo Mhare Des”. Rightfully, they concluded with the refrain “Sai Ram Padharo… Sai Ram Padharo… Sai Ram Padharo…” with deep longing that represented the heart-beat of Rajasthan…Rajasthani Rhythmic Beats. Full-throated and deep-hearted, the session turned out to be a boisterous, soulful devotional offering for the august ‘Prasanthi’ evening. They are defined as the playful sport of the Avatar. Though playful, each leela is full of meaning and lessons if we pay attention. A casual glance through the leelas of Lord #Krishna and those of #SathyaSai show striking similarities in the messages they convey and the playfulness with which they were done. But it should also be remembered that a leela is not performed in order to teach something. Instead, a leela is the nature of the Lord just as warmth is the nature of the flame! For a devotee thirsting to drink in the divine nectar of the Lord's leelas, this talk will surely act at least as a glass of water! It was delivered as a tribute to Sai and Krishna on the day after Krishna Janmashtami, the 6th of September 2015, in the Satsangh hall at Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi. <https://www.mixcloud.com/aravindb1982/leelas-of-sai-krishna/> https://www.mixcloud.com/aravindb1982/leelas-of-sai-krishna/ Aravind Balasubramanya _____ ‘PADHARO MAHRE DESH’ - Music Programme by Artists and Devotees from Barmer. <http://www.ssso.net/pnews-2015/RajasthanDay02.gif> Radio Sai added 11 new photos to the album: <https://web.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.930660913689714.1073742376.181243118631501&type=3> ‘PADHARO MAHRE DESH’ - Music Programme by Devotees from Barmer. Bhagawan clearly explains the benefits to us today. <http://www.ssso.net/pnews-2015/SI080915.jpg> To every being born on earth, Truth is the visible manifestation of God. The entire cosmos composed of moving and immovable objects has emerged from Truth, is sustained by Truth and merges in Truth. Truth is Divine and eternal (Sathyam-Jnanam-Anantham Brahma). Hence everyone mus...t revere Truth. Sathya and Dharma (truth and righteousness) will not submit to anyone. Every kind of strength, physical or otherwise, will have to come under their sway. Success follows Sathya and Dharma. Whatever be your scholarship or position, you have to cultivate respect for human values. Protect Sathya and Dharma always. What students and people must safeguard is not merely nations, but Sathya and Dharma. In turn these values will protect the Universe. Educated persons, who in the name of countries are giving up truth and right conduct, are actually undermining the human civilization. It is more vital to cultivate virtues than go after scholarship or other worldly riches and possessions of transient nature. - Divine Discourse, 20-May-1990. You are a fragment of the Divine. This is the greatest truth that everyone must comprehend fully. - BABA.
