These days are memorable for the doctors,para medical staff and seval dal volunteers involved in this gigantic rural medical service rendered free of cost with sophisticated medical technology and specialists at the door steps of poor villagers who are the most neglected section in the country suffering many acute and chronic diseases with none to care them but they themselves leaving it to their fate which is a pathetic situation in this modern era. While inaugurating the celebrations Dr.Kamineni Srinivas,Health Minister government of Andhra Pradesh, who visited Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences. a super speciality hospital for the first time said that most surprised at the hospital,it's environment and services rendered there with devotion and dedication free of cost with highly sophisticated equipment and man power.He even astonished more when Dr.Narasimham,Director of Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital had given details of genesis of the hospital and how Sri Sathya Sai Baba had initiated the project and the way the hospital is functioning on wheels going to the door steps of poor villagers providing hytech medicare and said he had no words to tell after listening to the details. Dr.Narasimham revealed that the Cambridge University had sent medical students for training and inview of this achievement the Health Minister immediately announced that he will try to send medical students of Anantpur Medical college to the Mobile Hospital for rural service and training and also announced that he is going to appoint Dr Narasimham as one of the members of expert panel on medical and health services in AP which are the feathers i the cap of our Director and hospital. Dr.Voleti Choudary,Director SSIHMS had given the details of service rendered by the super hospital a unique one in the universe rendering free service worth lakhs of rupees. As there is huge rush a ,lot of patients have to wait for a longer period. The Superintendent of Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital also spoke on the medical services. Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital is unique FREE rural out reach holistic health service which was started by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai baba on 30th March 2006.Services operate from 1st to 12th of every month at 12 nodal points or base villages and eacxh one is a centre point for 40 to 50 villages. 400 doctots of Andhra pradesh and Telangana states belonging to 12 specialities dedicate their skills and come in rotation voluntarily and freely spending their own transport.On any particular day 15-18 doctors with 30 support staff both medical,para medical and seva dal hailing some from villages who are well trained. All sophisticated diagnostic equipment available including biopsy,FNAC,EEG,Endoscopy and Surgeries done in Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital during the 12 days.
