Paramatma Ki Khoj – Drama by UP-Uttarakhand…

Sunday, September 27th, 2015

Depicting jeevatma’s ‘soul-searching’ journey to its ‘reality’, Balvikas Alumni
from the States of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand presented a drama entitled
“Paramatma Ki Khoj” – Search For The Divine, on the final evening of the 3-day
Uttar Pradesh – Uttarakhand Parthi Yatra here, in Prasanthi Nilayam today.

The Atma that originates from the Paramatma gets enmeshed in the worldly, fully
engrossed in the devilish tricks of maya, traversing through the turbulence of
greed, attachment and much more. It takes many life times for the Jeevatma to
get refined, only to know that it traversed from ‘I’ to ‘I’ in a long arduous
journey. It was this often explained theme of Bhagawan that formed the crux of
this evening’s drama presentation “Paramatma Ki Khoj” in the immediate Divine
omnipresence.

Donning the role of a story teller, the ‘Jeevatma’ enters the scene describing
‘its’ own story, showcasing three beautifully distinct sample episodes from
three different times.

The Jeevatma that appeared as Ravana once failed to fulfill its journey, being
harnessed by sensory attachments.

Next time, when the Jeevatma appeared as Thomas, an ardent disciple of Lord
Jesus, though he was totally devoted, yet, he was fully attached to the
physical form, such that when the Lord disappeared from the physical sight, he
was grieve-stricken and could not convince himself of the Lord’s Reappearance
in three days. Here, he asked for a proof and in turn got the best of the
sermons from his Lord, who asked him to seek Him within.

The final episode depicted an ordinary mortal – Govind, with a righteous,
sacrificial bent of mind. A strange meeting with a Fakir, Who was Shirdi Sai in
the guise of a mendicant, wins him the final wisdom. The under-educated mortal
poses a volley of questions about life and suffering without success…however
finally he hears the voice of the Lord, Who advises the suffering mortal to
look within to know Him and thus earn Prasanthi.

Phir Sai Ke Darshan Honge, Harpal Man Ke Darpan Mein… The presentation ended
with a theme song merging these beautiful wordings, ascribing Sai as the
Antaratma, Inner Core of every being, entire creation.

Bhajans followed, ending with Bhagawan singing Prema Muditha Manasa Kaho… in
His mellifluous voice. Mangala Arathi at 1815 hrs marked the end of the evening
proceedings.

Today’s Sai Inspires from Prasanthi Nilayam, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2015

In the spiritual field what is the qualification we must acquire to live free?
Bhagawan lovingly explains to us today.

  <http://www.ssso.net/pnews-2015/SI270915.jpg>

No other person can bind you; you do it yourself! You choose to become bound,
straying away from the righteous (dharmic) path. If faith in God’s omnipresence
is deep-rooted, you would become aware that He is within you and you will
choose to be free. For that faith to grow, you must grasp the Divine (Atmic)
bliss firmly. The reality of the Divinity (Atma) is the bedrock, that is the
incontrovertible wisdom (nishchitha-jnana). Without that foundation, you will
easily become the target of doubt, despair, and delusion. Therefore, first
endeavour to be free. That is to say, as a prerequisite to successful living,
cultivate faith in righteousness (dharma) as the core of your personality, and
then learn and practise the discipline necessary to reach down to that core.
When you acquire that qualification, you can engage fully in worldly
activities, following the prescribed right conduct (dharma). Thus you transform
yourself to be a moral individual (dharma-purusha).

- Dharma Vahini, Ch 2.

True adherence to your conscience is righteousness proper.-BABA.
