Hey dillip I heard the radio show on goa and these are my views The law of the land should prevail. Why should there be an exception to the British or the Germans. We all know if we go on a visit to the US or Britian we can't buy a house or property even if we stay for longer than 182 days as we are on a visit visa and even if we extend that visa we are still as visitors there and cannot buy any property as we are not citizens or permanent residents. In Britian its the same so why would the british do just the exact same thing in Goa.They tend to blame the builders, the lawyers and the middle man but the fact of the matter is that they have to do all their research before procedding with this process because after all its their hard earned money.Like Narvekar said "the British made these laws themselves" Those who have not followed proper legal procedure, their properties shud be confiscated and auctioned of.
