Dear all: I am given to understand that work is underway to revamp the Goa Archdiocese website [http://www.archgoadaman.org/] This also involves -- I could be wrong here, so correct me -- setting up Drupal (Free Software)-based subdomains (mini-sites) for the diverse parishes of Goa.
If this comes about soon, it would be real good. One way or the other, since the church is already digitising quite a bit of its information (parish bulletin, church announcements, etc via its computers) it would make good sense to store all this information, and also put out the relevant sections -- via a website or even a blog (which takes five minutes to set up on wordpress.com or blogger.com!) Computers are only good if we make optimum use of them....
