It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ambrose Remedios of Wimbledon Chase, London, ex Uganda, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 21st May 2009, aged 90 years. Ambrose originally came from Tabravaddo, Saligao in Goa and was well known in the Goan community in the UK and abroad. He was the husband of the late Olive Remedios, father to Denis and Louis, father-in law to Joan and Michele and devoted grandfather to Lisa, Mark, Trevor and Jason. The funeral will take place on Monday 1st June at 11am at: St. John Fisher R.C. Church, 207 Cannon Hill Lane, London SW20 9DB, This will be followed by the burial at Merton and Sutton Cemetery, Garth Road.
