Albert writes:- Sad news that Sr.Irene passed away. I really read it very late. Sr.Irene was my teacher in Lourdes Convent and it was she who taught me to write cursive handwriting. Very soft in nature but very firm as a teacher. She was a mixture of mild and stern. She never gave us any harsh beating but fondly asked us to be good boys. She always smiled and her goodness radiated on her face. She also taught my daughter Arlette and also taught her cursive handwriting. Both of us have very good hand writing because of her. For the last 30 years my students remembered me and my hand writing and I give the credit to my teacher Sr.Irene. May her soul rest in peace.
