Dear Netters, The raggy, shaggy 'whatsthis' we sent earlier was a caterpillar we found on a palm in our garden here in Donvaddo, Saligao. A truly incredible bit of nature! And now this unbelievable specimen also found in Donvaddo, on the wall of the pond, oppoiste Frank and Thresa's house. It was the most delicte bit of bright green gossamer we ever saw, till a macro shot showed us what it really was from up close. If only someone could document the flora and fauna of Saligao... It is a treasure trove of bio-diversity out here. And there is more to come... Please excuse the slightly large file size, but we do not want you to miss out on the stunning detail.
