Dear RicoThanks for mentioning that you met me. I am a tiatrist in my own way and feel proud that tiatr academy included my name in the tiatr directory .Though I have contributed in my own way towards konkani and tiatr my work has not been recognised by the journalist or else there would be a write up in some local papers about my works. I won the kala academy prize in 1984. We had great tiatrists from saligao like Francis Lobo, Emy Sequeira who won the best actor /actress award. I put a script for tiatr script competition in 2007 organised by Goa academy and won the second prize. This tiatr made its appeareance in three different stages of London with one of the artist being from Sonarbhatt the great Ida de souza the daughter of Ancy and Alfred my next door neighbour. I would appreciate if our scribes from saligao bring out in their writings about great people from saligao. Imagine when I had my first show in saligao Lourdes convent in 1979 we had great tiatrists like Luis de Mello, Pricilla Sequeira, Emy Sequeira, Anthonio Rosario Paes, and singers like Martha de souza wife of late Nolasco de Souza .Albert de souza
