Ha ha! good one Alan!
Yeh Ashley is right & Seby is right too. In Seby's part of the world our friends were sued by their neighbour because a branch of their tree fell in the compound & broke the neighbour's fence. In Saligao, we would probably just hope that the neighbour would offer to pay as has been done actually or to keep a good relationship we would do the needful & just request them to cut off the rest of the "whacky" branches, ..... good Saliganvkar neighbours do that, I can vouch for that. Thank goodness for my good neighbours..... But in the case of the dog bite, I would presume that the child comes first..the family needs to check if the dog has had the relevant rabies injections & that the dog is not sick.....the child needs to get the "one" injection rather than the 14, irrespective..... I recall Gladstone's parents giving me that information a long time ago & at that time it was available only in Poona. So I am sure it is available now in the Goa hospitals at a much reduced price....either way, the neighbour could pay for that? It would be their civic duty....I think It is the last Salvo today - who is celebrating the Feast then??? Appreciate your efforts. Alan, cool sense of humour which works in movies. Out here, in the Eastcoast, we would be able to press charges. my nephew who is in Goa, was playing outside his house and the neighbors dog bit him. I was wondering if there was an animal rescue department. Ashley, I need to meet you when I come down this time as we never met. Thank you guys...
